' Wrote:...this is exactly what the 101st does? Direct them to the registration thread? We don't blow them up until they've decided to be arses, you know...
It's the threat of "register or be pvp whored" that makes an arse, not refusing to listen to one.
GET THE HELL OFF MY THREAD. There is one I just put up for you to argue all you want over the Faction Rule. YES they have a right to request you to register. HOWEVER they MUST be polite in the manner in which they ask you. Registering DOES not mean you HAVE to join the faction. If you want RP a sub group of the NPC Faction then go for it. I am going to be with a few of my characters cause they wouldn't fit properly in the actual groups.
Now please I ask get onto the topic of the thread.
As a side note the post was not meant as an attack on any single faction. I don't necessarily agree with what the 101st has done in terms of Caps but that is their prerogative as the paying owners of those systems.
Thanks
//sorry for all the anger I am really mad to see my Thread Hijacked for such a (what I feel is) Bullhonky reason. However I don't find any solution in blaming any single person just working to get it back on topic. So please if you don't know what the topic is refer to my first page. IF someone could link to Del's post about the links and stuff he made that would be like uberly awesome.//
**Edited. Ehh heh heh sorry del just fixed that >.> <.< no one saw that ^.^**

Ok... So, can we see you RP for your ship (whatever it may well be). I would be interested in reading it. I want to know how having an outcast capitol ship affects the QCO...
EDIT: @ n00blet. The reason we require all people to register their capships (aside form the precedent and fairness) is because, as I have said earlier, what armed force wouldn't know how many aeroplanes, tanks or warships it had?
The Maltese Navy is not privately owned. It is organised rather than being a rabble... We are just trying to get organised with knowing what we have and where.
I'm an OC. Story's in my sig. Akumabito is referring to the HMS Churchhill I believe.
We have? I have. I own my ship. You are not going to order my ship to do work which your own soldiers can do. I hope that the way I have inferred this is different to your intended meaning.
' Wrote:The Outcast Destroyer is constructed at Corsica. The Shipyards in Londonderry should not be producing that vessel, and it should be removed next version. Malta is not capable of launching capital ships (other than Gunboats) into planetary orbit. There is no way something that large could survive the stress of launch and re-entry.
My craft and how it was contructed addresses this problem. When I complete it you are quite welcome to read.

I was just bountyhunting a ship that will remain nameless, and, lo and behold, a outcast destroyer, molly tag, zoner i.d., corsair weapons and not a word in response. I followed him to Omega 49 and observed him farming corsair npc's in GC orbit. I know adding examples from our own experience isn't really enlightening, but considering how fiery this debate has become in the last few days, it does put things into perspective.
I literally couldn't play. Not a word. Not a jot.
Did you screenshot it and sanction the person?

The other outstandingly anti registration person here, Nooblet, is upset because he has done everything required, and much more, but recently the registration became something that made all the difference, and the registration is somewhat outside of the RP of the ship. One assumes (and I have not read nooblet's rp, I have not found it) that the ship has a long history of working with the Maltese navy, and registering it now implies that it wasn't registered before, which I find ludicrous, if the ship has been working with the navy. The registration is something that must be oorp in nature, or optionaly RP, or else it threatens to break RP of existing ships. Were I eppy, I would find nooblet's RP, post it, and consider the ship registered, but conduct the whole process oorp.
Which ship is that, Culebra?
It was bought while I was still working on the RP for it. In terms of RP it's been around since 812AS-813AS, it still needs a lot of work but I don't have the time right now. The RP is in my sig.

At no point does he ask you to do any work for the 101st. All he asked is that you spend a mkinute to TELL US what your ship is. It's in-RP. Think of it as a notice that was distributed to the Naval high command when your ship was commissioned. That's all it is.

You hope you misunderstood him? What? What is that supposed to mean?
Very nice. A completely automated warship. The temptation to debate the legitimacy of that concept is exceptional, to say the least, but I'll refrain, simply because there isn't enough data to properly rule it out; just inferences. All the same: The 101st considers itself in overall command of the Outcast military, and it considers any and all Outcast-based warships under its watch. Why on earth you can't take the necessary thirty seconds to make the post I don't know, but it isn't really my problem; Direct Force Theory is in full swing at the moment.

Now, n00blet, this isn't about controlling you, it's about KNOWING WHO YOU ARE AND THAT YOU EXIST. It provides us with a good idea of who flies an Outcast capship SO THAT WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE. We can't be expected to notice every single RP post made of your ship. This puts it all in one place, so that we can CO-OPERATE.
Co-operate? What aspect of co-operation is take orders from Grand Admiral Mia? It's not. That's why I didn't join any other clan. Also, I'm quite sure after this argument my RP has been noticed. I also saw Eppy reading my Destroyer RP about 5 minutes ago. And currently Del is reading it.

Apologies, but that's what it sounded like.
I hope that I did not interpret it correctly. Because if I had to take orders from Eppy, that would really suck. Sorry Eppy, I don't want...

Debate all you want. I'm willing to answer any questions you have regarding this. Preferably PM.

Ok, good thing we have that misunderstanding behind us.... at least, I hope it was a misunderstanding. Are you now willing to "register" your ship? I see it as more of a notification that it was commissioned. It's not really much.
