I keep my name for the street cred. When people see me in the lane they will know who I am and that if the Fuck with me they end up dead. .

My friend told me once he earned 300 M via pirating in 1 week.
You just have to be clever and active.

It's fun as hell. Plus, you can make billions if you want to. Just takes proper placement, really.

Yes, this is tru, and I never said you can't earn money as a pirate.

However, while your friend earned 300 mill in one week pirating, he could have earned over 1 billion by trading/mining.

So, I think my argument is valid.

Not really. "Pirating earns less than mining/trading" maybe. But you said:

It simply doesn't work that way. Pirating often costs money in the end,

So wait, was the question

"Is piracy a good source of income"

or was it

"Is piracy a source of income on par with trading and mining"

Because if it is the later, then it was a rather stupid question to begin with.

Yah....I would say that all of the ammo and bot rebuys over the course of the years vs the money I've made would probably about equal out.

I also wasn't really concerned about making money, so I've never asked for more than 2 million. I think I may have asked for 5 on a few gold haulers, but it wasn't often.

Had I been asking for 10-15 mills, which is entirely justifiable for ore haulers, then I probably would come out on top.

I wasn't doing it for the money though. It was fun to be a bad guy, especially considering my true nature is about as opposite as you can get from that (or I think so anyways).

Maybe I'm just too nice to be a successful pie-rat. Who knows....

Personally, pirating is often easier than mining, trading or doing missions because I generally enjoy playing as a pirate so it's more convenient for me.

Then again, pirating is sort of mining....

Just...you know.

Rocks, traders.

Just traders are like a much more whiny type of rocks, which makes it much more fun to shoot them.
