*cough* I'm sorry to interrupt this idyllic discussion but Nomads (Keepers) are quite active and growing in numbers with new members. You have been misinformed or has misunderstood what others meant. We're quite often around, both in small two-three groups and sometimes gathering in large ones. Though causing pure terror can cause pure flames too, so reasonable limits and restrictions apply. Have to balance between providing fun for others and having fun ourselves, that's a tricky business and quite easy to fall from the thin line.

As for the story, it's very nicely written, as I said before you have talent for those things, but I reserve my opinion as regards usage of Nomads in such way.

Well, then maybe the Phantom's, C'tan, Nomads(Keepers), Liberty Navy (Couldn't help myself either, you're right though XD), MonStar and his Plauge (hehe) yada yada yada should get on more often and cause pure terror on the server instead of being either never on or non-existant to begin with. Maybe THEN I wouldn't be coming up with this proposal.

seriously though, i tend to agree with Sovereign here. why not use something already here and established to cause terror, that's why i suggested the Phantoms.

this could easily be molded to be some sort of Phantom extremeist group or special tactics squad. i'm not against the group at all but using something in the game already seems like a better option. i'm one of those "no more imports" types, which means new aliens, races, etc..etc.., so take my words for what they are.

well I like the idea, manly cause the Tau's are quite boring at the moment. I've pretty much given up traveling threw em cause its so dull, no one goes there.....

Maybe if there was a "small" threat there it would encourage some people to leave NY and head out Bretonia way.

For something as major as a fully new alien race, get Igiss to give a go-ahead on the idea at least, to be examined the RP of such later. I have no doubts of the quality of said RP, but between the various concerns presented here and all the new stuff Igiss is working on, it seems like the first step is to get an "alright, start writing and we'll see where this goes" before you spend all the time and effort of making the epic required to install such a thing in Sirius.

Please, while it might not be fun to have a remarkable idea floating around relatively unusable, consider how much worse it would be for you to write all of it and have Igiss say "Wait what the hell? No thanks."

If you need to write, work on a Wild story. You mentioned wanting to join via PM, write something up. We're getting the crew more active and trying to peck for new members, the Wild can soon fulfill your evil quota. Scorpion squadron sound appetizing?

You still can, there are plenty of "major RPs" that are floating around.

The BLS, the mostly overlooked Kusari-Bretonia war (PLEASE WRITE SOMETHING ABOUT THAT), the tensions between Rheinland and Liberty, the day-to-day battles in the Outcast-Corsair war, the Wild gate (as of yet untapped for RP), and there is always the option to "pull a Mon'Star" and go for a scary terrorist ID.



EDIT: If you have skype, I'm sovfalcon. Add me, I've got plans for a terrorist ID story that could feasibly have a tagalong.

Being that this is my thread, I'm not grave-digging, more of a bump from years past. I'm re-visiting this idea being that it took a lot of work to write it back then (a lot of work being almost a years writing and brainstorming), and it diserves some kind of honor to be RPed on the server in some form. I'll be reviewing how to RP one of these creatures in-game in the near future.

Any more thoughts on the subject would be appriciated.
