' Wrote:i disagree with that statement, right now rheinland has the least in all the houses when it comes to unlawful factions, theres is a small group of unioners who rome around and the hessians, the hessians tend to keep to the omegas and stick to fighting off the corsairs mostly, though they do sometimes assault rheinland when there is a RM on, also the unioners tend to just tax and hurt the RM when they are around. i aint seen many bundshuh on at all. the fact is rheinland is rather unpopulated and anyone who says its got to many enemies is rather blind and silly
Rheinland? Least in all houses? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
There's the RHA, there's the Volksfront, the LWB, assorted Unioner gangs, the odd Junker, the Wild, etc...
There are twenty-nine people in the Rheinland Unlawful skype chat, and similar numbers in the RM skype chat.
The RM is on a lot more since practically doubling their numbers, there are a few RFP floating around, and plenty of traders.
There are regular battles featuring at least two men per side, and each group can usually rally at least four should anything serious pop up (like a Harvester or something). Rheinland always has people in it, and system doesn't stay quiet for too long in New Berlin.
On the contrary, we have Bretonia, the only house to have gone an entire week without more than a single soul in its entire scope at one time. Its a frikken ghost town, although with the advent of Clan O'Malley and the UoG rearing up again, as well as the (Gaia) folks, it is possible to find someone to talk to/pop in the face if you have good timing.
Its probably just your timezone, while Rheinland isn't swamped by unlawfuls it certainly has its fair share. Numbers in Rheinland are pretty well matched, easily the best trader/police+military/pirate/terrorist balance anywhere.
Liberty has too much of everything but traders, if you want to terrorize things Kusari is the place. Bretonia has almost nothing to terrorize, and Rheinland is fine the way it is. On top of the "superhumans killing 'unworthy' mortals in space-Germany" thing.
Head out to the edge worlds or Kusari for maximum effect.
My timezone ranges from anytime of the day, to the middle of the night to early in the mornings, i notice alot of things. So no, it is not my timezone. I do not use the niobium/diamond trade run either, i find it a noobs way to buy things, as its back and forth, over and over, i like a change of scenery.
I took outcasts off of the 'friendly' list (they'd be considered neutral now, lane hackers are primary allies), and removed the raven's claw fighter - slipstream only at this point, hopefully more suitable ships will be added in 4.85.
I'm looking for a good flagship for our group... any suggestions?
It will be the only capship of the faction, preferrably it should be a carrier-style ship... but I cant afford a battleship -_-
Has to be available to a hacker ID as well. All of our fighters use a pirate ID + hacker tag and slipstream fighters, but the pirate/military ID's dont allow anything above gunboat size (and most gunboats are a bit small to serve as carriers).
Right now I'm thinking outcast destroyer, red hessian cruiser, or rheinland pirate cruiser...

Urk....... my Idea! Noooo!!!
Ungh... I've been toying around with something that was somewhat similar to this idea (rather different in some aspects, but it does have some prominent similarities), and am currently writing a good bit of stuff up for it. It's set around Rheinland, though. Come to think of it, the two concepts might be able to work side by side, as the basic premise for my characters is quite different. My characters were going to be rather less aggressive, being more interested in research and... other things which I will not divulge yet. Once I manage to get some more stuff done, it might be interesting to go over the basic background of my stuff with Tenacity. As my concept is based off of a Rheinland research project, the two (Black Lance and my own characters) could either be the result of the same project, but somewhat divergent from each other, or the result of competing projects (Liberty vs. Rheinland). I'm not quite ready to go over anything else with anyone yet, though, as I feel I need more ground work and more backstory to it.
Like I said, there's a coalition group forming seperate from the SCRA which we may be joining up with in the future as a fighter wing for their faction.
Other similar projects - like adamantine's - can end up as allies or partners in the black lance's mission (bringing down the governments of all four houses is the primary goal, though not explicitly stated - they bring war to the houses so that they will become stronger).
We may also be able to ally up with the phantoms in the future, due to similarities between the two.
well right now it looks like the outcast destroyer is the best choice... sufficiently large and it looks like a carrier to begin with, without being ridiculously expensive.
Now if i can just get my members to pitch in a few million credits a peice to help me out with the purchase...

Hmm... we would likely not end up as good allies, as my characters would likely find the Black Lance's actions distasteful, yet there would probably remain a degree of respect between them. If they did ally, it would be reluctantly.

yea i suppose... we are a bit on the evil and unrelenting side =P Bio weapons are fun.
