Or there's always Freeport 14, in Alberta. Quiet, relate lively close to Liberty and Bretonia, with commercial activity and a trade route that starts there... Would make be a nice spot, in my opinion.

1: No OORP.
2: No spamming.
3: No RPUI (Role Playing Under the influence, as in drunk or high).
4: No Rage RP. If you don't like someone in the chat, then don't take your hatred out on them INRP, keep it out of RP and away from the chat.
5: No abusive, vulgar, flamatory, or racist language.
6: NO POLOTICS, lest they be RP related.
Problem with having skype-RP is the fact that:
1.) as pointed out in previous posts, VERY messy.
2.) not everyone are gifted speed-typers/readers. Some like to take time and think about their words, others are still digesting what the other said. And in the span of 10 seconds of digesting/reading, the chat would've added another 50 messages to sift through.
3.) there's gotta be an "Admin" of the chat. Rules means they must be enforced. Who's gonna enforce them? What're the punishments for such? It's different from forums-regulating because chat msgs are going at 400 meters/sec, so a potential admin ought to not only be good at pointing out OORP, but must be the equivalent of a supercomputer in his job, and know the appropriate punishments for such.
4.) timezones. 'nuff said.
there could be stuff I missed, but these are the most glaring obstacles.
Personally, I love skype-based RP. It's spontaneous, it's alive, and it's in-the-now, so it's even harder to lose momentum of keeping it up. If you can properly address these issues, I'll have little doubt that such future Bars would be great sources of story generation.
Well, you could have the actual admin of the Freeport to be the Admin of the chat. Would make sense. Maybe along with a few moderators, but that should be enough. True, it's messy, but so is ingame chat. Especially with a high concentration of players. Timezones, well, they are a problem everywhere, not jut in Skype. Again, they are also a problem ingame. And finally, of course not everyone is a gifted speed reader-typer. Again, please remember that there is the same problem ingame; and as far as I'm aware, these do not cause too much problems in the game, so why would they in Skype?

#2 is of course up in the air given that there is no real way to remedy the issue other than simply keeping an eye on whoes typing via the skype Pencil icon at the bottom of the text. There is also the fact that if someone is talking to your char and have said something, then you take a while to answer, then it probly menans you still thinking of how to answer.
#3 I and a few others will of course be keeping an eye on the chat, there is already one other person who will be administrating the chat alongside myself and we will be looking for others as well.
#4 People will simply have to deal with this issue, not much I, or anyone else can do about it.
Other than those issues, I don't see to many other problems, and if anyone gets to OORP and the chat admins don't catch it, then simply bring it to their attention.
So this never really went anywhere... I feel kinda bad about that. I would still love to start this chat and open it to all of Disco, though doing so would mean a bit of trust would be needed for everyone joining. if anyone were to randomly kill someone else's char or just start OORP Trolling, then that will be addressed asap. Other than that, I'm willing to RP the Bartender from time to time. The Station is to be Barrier Gate in Coronado, owned and operated by freelancers if I'm not mistaken. I don't think we will have any issue in using the station as the RP area and should anyone know of something wrong with doing so, then please let me know. I will be adding as many of you all as possible very soon.
