Well, as for me, this one looks much more like a deep space explorer - blocky and sturdy, no huge useless wings. Though yes, maybe too spiky and maybe it needs a bigger engines or a couple more of same size.

I wanted to make it feel like one of those little subs people see exploring the oceans. So I'm glad the sturdy exploring vessel came out. I have another working model with less antennas I'll be posting it in a few days.

Well, the model is ok, there is a issue with the parts that look like spikes coming out of it. Maybe make it more sleek and remove the spikes, but I would save the version you made, could be used as a Coalition Freighter, they could use one.

Thanks for the comment, always good to hear from a fellow designer. I'm working on a version with fewer "spikes" on it. Should have pictures soon.

Cleaned thread - stay ontopic and if you've got nothing constructive to say, do not press reply.

That said, personally I find this model far to detailed for a ship the size of the Spatial (IE a fighter). These spikes and other portrusions make hitboxing the ship a problem. Fighters should be sleek, not porcupines.

Update on the first page, made it thinner, and smaller, removed some of the spikes and switched the orientation of the engines.

I LOVE the model. I still think the current Spatial is ok though. Perhaps we can use it for something else, maybe a civilian SHF/HB mix, with less guns than a Spatial but double torp slot, perhaps with higher speed and/or a not so efficient powercore, to give it a definite distinction from the Waran.

I don't seed a signature.
