Zoners should definitely NOT be enforcing treaties that are not their own anywhere. Friendly advice is one thing but any form of lawyering by a zoner could be construed as a form of intervention which would counter a strict sense of neutrality.
TO be honest, how i see it, if Zoners see a ship that "shouldn't" be somewhere? They didn't see it, they know nothing, move along and continue about your business.
I'm just going to reply to the people involved in this, all the rest of you who weren't there, quit making false accusations and unless you were there, your not a topic for my post.
I was attacked in new berlin by this cruiser i followed him into S-13 to ask him politely to get out of Sigma -13 and why he shot at my vessel, He then proceeded to fire on me he ran away to Helgoland, and i began firing at him, calling in reinforcements - Fredriko. After a while we had stopped firing, realizing it was hopeless for both sides, i had engaged in roleplay about the 100 YEAR TREATY (no rules in that treaty between Rheinland and GMG, AKA no rule lawyering.)
We had then left, and i replaced my ship later after receieving a transfer.
This is the very short summary of what happened, and my Roleplay of the GMG Treaty is far from Rule lawyering, if you think it is, please direct me to the Rules where a treaty in the game is part of the rules which is so "forbidden".
Good day.
Also by the way, as decree of the Admiralty of Rheinland, all Rheinland Vessels in Sigma-13 are to be treated as Wilde, and they do attack the Zoners anyways...

to be fair it did have many symptoms of Wilde - nomad equipment, rheinland cruiser in s13, and shooting without warning...
(did you mention that challenger, in NB or something? I seem to recall something being said but I've forgotten)
Colonel Zero you have a great starting point for a Wilde RP, somewhat accidentally, but they're rare and special, if you want to go down that route the door has been opened!

I fail to understand why you had to go into sig-13, where you do not belong.
Zoners lack the authority to enforce such things but it was good advice.
Proceed with the warrantless venting and such.
Did you not read the part of me notbeing familiar with RH space due to me associating with planet NB almost entirely?
' Wrote:My bad, after seeing the first little bit at the front I got a confused and when I went to type I remembered that tiny OOC line and not the rest. Most of my point is now more of a warning and not an accusation- still, what exactly gives Zoners the right to enforce a GMG treaty? I know that the Zoners are friendly with the GMG, but... you don't see Outcasts maintaining Red Hessian directives, nor BPA taking over for when the LPI are otherwise occupied. If you really feel strongly about it, just bring it to the forums via RP and see what comes of it. Ripping on someone who is repfixing doesn't do anyone any good.
This is what I was trying to get at.
' Wrote:I completely agree that we could not enforce it. I believe the warning was
"Go quickly Before Rheinland Military High Command sees you here" (or something very similar)
ie. we were not fighting or forcing them directly, but we would report to their superiors
Yeah this is after you followed me into S-13 and proceeded to attack me under the accusation that I was infested. Even after I said my predicament you and tyour still proceeded to repeat yourselves dozens of times.

The char was meant to be based on a anime char I'm drawing up who's from a country much like Germany or more precisely euro based colonies formed into a larger stellar nation (she even has the accent). To be more precise I borrowed the names (and sometimes traits) of these characters Bianca for instance a wwhite hot-headed Heterocromian (multi colored eyes) merc. Although she doesn't truly own a space ship in the real story her traits are adapted for FL.
I was however making an observation on Zoner behavior. Zoners shouldn't, in my opinion, be invoking any treaties that do not directly involve them as signatories. They are neutral, and should behave in such a manner.
If two parties can sign a treaty with the understanding that the zoners might invoke its provisions and then (possibly) act to enforce it, that removes Zoner neutrality. My issue is that as a Zoner you should not have been quoting a treaty that has no bearing on the Zoners at all - the treaty (if it still stands), was between Rhineland and the GMG, Zoners have absolutely no jurisdiction in that matter.
Zoners (Idies namely) have been attacking pirates out right because they can hunt pirates. But my thing is unless we're trying to jack a zoner ship it shouldn't be their buisness And another thing that bugs e is the non (player faction) affiliated trader with Z-IFFed ID do other zoners then have the right to barge in?
"get out of here before Rheinland Military high command witnesses you here."
you should have been like
"oh, but I AM Rheinland Military High Command B****"
on a more serious note, lol.
It seemed to me at first that they just wanted to avoid rheinland in gmg space in rp. I don?t think they knew that //ment oorp, yes, they do not know how to oorp, odd, isn?t it? Anyways, but then it seemed like they wanted to pick a fight...
