But, but, but, there's no activity whatsoever in Gallia to start with! You can't get more activity if you kick 0 out of a few systems. I seriously love how everyone blames it on Gallia when Gallia is dead as it is. Unless we remove systems with activity you won't get more segregated people. So why not remove Liberty? That'll put activity everywhere else.

Arnt scanner nerfs the same as ship compat? Anyway its good because it doesnt make sense a fighter can mount a scanner designed for a BS, but it could also probly be done by making it take up lots of space/use lots of power?

Also nerfs are way better than techart because the game enforces it instead of the admins. But the best way of all would be to give faction leaders FR5 powers, and have equipment loss on death, And no ID nerfs. They dont make sense, but keep the ship compat nerfs cos they do.

That way when you die, you cant get the factions tech back if the faction is hostile to you, and so your ship will be nerfed if you have to use foreign equipment on it. Therfore people wont be able to keep flying around in thier enemies ships.

I am in favour of whatever reduces lag. I think the PoBs should stay - I actually joined an official faction just because of the PoB I maintain.

Joke Suggestion: Make Rheinland into a Constitutional Monarchy and remove Gallia. (nerd)

Serious Suggestion: Player Operated Bases frankly are a major annoyance, they contribute HEAVILY to lag, nothing stops trolls from rapidly building a shield/gun base over the JH to your home system if you are in a different timezone and frankly they take WAY too much time to maintain and leaves little time for your characters to do anything else that actually contributes to the mod.
