She takes a sip. "Well... Matilda means strong woman..." She says. "I was going to be named... something else... but... I was... almost... still born..." She says rubbing her belly. "But... I am a fighter... so I fought my way into this world..."
She nods a little. "Yeah... when I first saw the nomad... I wondered... if it was angry... but it seems... that one trusts... us..."
Matilda nods. "Yeah... better keep that between ourselves..." She says. "I don't want someone knocking on my door at midnight to... take me... away..."
She looks sad for a moment "If... it did attack... and you tried to protect me..." She sighs. "You would have... died... and... I would be alone..."
She yawns a little. "Oh... my..."
She shakes her head. "No... don't... leave..." She says. "I have... a feeling something might happen..." She looks quite concerned. "Please... stay..." She holds his hands.
"You... I am... worried about you..." She says quickly. "I feel... that if you go to Rochester... something bad will happen... to you..."
She holds his hands tighter. "I... don't want to be alone... again..."
She smiles. "Thank you..."
She holds his hand on her belly. "Hmm... I... hope I can... raise... him properly..."
She looks sad. "But... h... he... will ask... where... his father is..."
