Looks like I'll have to add an unregistered indie order ship to my characters, one who refuses to listen to the high command once it was infected by nomads.
I agree with restricting cap ships.
What I was somewhat unhappy with was the way the Order Pilot Roster was done, as I said technically as a Black squadron Officer I can not officially recognize any Indypendent Order pilots RP rank other than Pilot/Captain of their own vessel.
We should be more united, I don't like creating an "us and them" situation.
We tread a dangerous path if we do that, there isn't room for a second Order faction, so scratching for ideas, I'd like to suggest that all Indy order pilots become official reservists.... you know weekend warriors. It still gives them freedom, but the ability to have a more structured RP ranking system.

I disagree with your assumption of unilateral control of the Order in all shapes and forms, don't expect me to follow your edicts.
Second point being that you are named BlackSquadron.
It is militarily and logistically impossible for a squadron to have such far reaching and absolute control, your name doesn't suit your role. This shouldn't be ignored and given exception because of the lineage that Bs| carries on the server.

As I said before, having forum RP means a few things:
-You are active on the forums
-You've more than likely seen posts about bad RP'ers here, as well as sanction posts regarding them, so you're less likely to break the rules or be a bad RP'er yourself
-It lets the regulating faction (black squadron) know why you're using that ship, and what you're using it for
-It shows that you have at least some amount of RP skill and arent here just to pvp whore.
Now, the story I am working on for my own character in 4.85 doesnt really say why I'm getting or using the order carrier other than through promotion of rank - but I've been developing my order character for the past 6 months on these forums and in-game, and I'm fairly sure most people know that I'm a capable RP'er and regulate my actions in game by a set of rules that I have developed for myself, in order to ensure that I dont take action without reason behind it.
Most players have not had that kind of effort put into their characters - hell, I could name two order osirises that have appeared out of nowhere in the past 2 weeks who I've never seen on the forums - and one of them i've never seen any chat whatsoever from in-game, even oorp chat, he just plays silent, and doesnt seem to really know what he's doing. The other I've had some minor RP with in game, but that ship has been invovled in every single OORP attack against new york in the past two weeks as well. Neither of them would have my approval to fly the ships they do - i simply dont think they're deserving of it.

There are some independents, namely myself and tenabras, who would be pretty pissed if we were turned from trusted indy order players to 'weekend warriors' with no authority in the direction of the faction. This has already been discussed - most independents should listen to mid-to-high ranking Bs| players when they are present. Tenabras and Aki.Kimura have both been authorized to lead order operations in the absence of the four black squadron admirals, but we take orders from them when they are around or disagree with what we're doing.

I brought this up already, they arent changing their name anytime soon - the indepenents who have a problem with their control over the order will just have to suck it up and deal with it. The order itself is not an entire military faction, it's a fleet of ships with basing in omicron minor and omicron 100 - granted, it's a rather large fleet, but it's still a fleet rather than an entire military.

the name Blacksquadron doesnt mean anything..Bs| supports many game, it's a clan, doesnt really in the part of RP.... i believe we can totally change our tag to [TO]--The Order...

I fully agree with your stuff. However, I must warn that I've seen players having a kick-ass forum RP, but were acting like asses in game. Be careful with that. The In-game RP should matter more than the forums RP. not everyone is the best at writing stories. For example, myself I completely, utterly suck at RP stories on the forums, or I lack time for them. However, I feel like I am RP pretty well in game.
Don't reject people that play well only because they only have a few lines of RP on the forums.
((btw, just to avoid confusion, in the first lines, I am not speaking about any player/group of players, just pointing out a fact))
