Reasons of this war don't make sense.
Hatred with reasons behind it is pretty bad itself. You know what's worse? The hatred when you don't actually know the reason and you just hate someone for just hatred.
Just look around you. There are people, families, nations that hate each other for something that had happened back from generation up to many hundred years back.

The Normandy group is the third side of Gallia. Also known as the Separatists, they have a system or systems beyond Maine. There's a sealed jumpgate with them on the other side. The original idea was to introduce them later, but with Gallia being as saturated as it is and already having problems keeping activity for the more important factions Igiss and the dev team decided to leave them out. It's just a lore faction with background in the First Gallic War. But hey, Gallia has horrible lore that no one actually looks into, right?
And before anyone gets any ideas. It's been said before as well. The Normandy group will not be a thing in the mod.
Too bad, it would be pretty interesting concept for a third side in the Gallia. But hey, with Gallic Junkers and Brigands, I'd see either Maquis or Brigands seceeding from the Anti-Crown alliance.
Also, as for Bringands, they are the only unlawful Gallic faction that can operate in Kyushu AND they have the most neutral stance between Hogosha and Blood Dragons. Something that no other house pirates/unlawfuls have.
And seriously, Gallia needs to be made more interesting for your average player or, well, you know. I don't actually have many useful ideas, but I have an understanding with the people who might. I'd just put the most profitable (and by far) trade/mine route there for the beginning as most new players buy ships for the House they traded in, but I don't think that would have a significant effect.
That's what the faction leaders are trying to do. We're kickstarting different RP ideas like the Gallic nobility and hopefully more to make the house more appealing. Not to mention editing the solar systems so it's not a hell hole.

And notice how Gallia is no longer in isolation. Big wow!
People kinda forget that they have Kusari and Rheinland as trade allies. They are also gathering ores from the taus. Between the taus and trading with two other houses, they are pretty well off at this point. There's also a big difference between a modern day country and a galactic house with multiple planets. Things kinda work differently with different scales. I only brought up Japan as a reference that it's a thing that happens, not a direct comparison.

Gallia was in isolation, without connection to other Houses, and, even if we consider, that it had so much resources, where did it take brains for new technologies? Gallia has much less population, than other Houses, yet it could somehow to develop much more advanced technology.

It's the brainchild of Igiss. He can introduce it however he wants.

I'm having a feeling you never actually looked into the lore and backstory of Gallia. Gallia is a large house, the largest of the five major houses. It has a very large population boom, which is why you can find space colonies around in the different systems.

Life isn't ideal. Also I have a feeling you're arguing just to argue at this point.

Where can I find the whole history then? Don't send me to wiki, it doesn't have much.
Also, I don't like to argue that much. But in my opinion all this Gallia thing is a bit ridiculous.
