Greetings, fellow scientists, ecologists and warriors of Gaia,
Recently I've met up with some of you in space after deciding to return to my so called homeland of Cambridge and we've had quite the talk about the Gaian Guard. I'll try to keep my background story short, because what really matters is the future and how we forge it.
Born on planet Cambridge in 799 A.S., given only the name Holly in memory of a long extinct tree from a far away world before the Great Colonization of Sirius, began the journey of my life. Like most of the kids around, I was surrounded by brilliant minds from the start, so it's no surprise I decided to take up science from an early age. By the age of 17 I was already finishing my Theoretical Physics education in the famous Cambridge Research Institute. Thinking back, the only thing I was really concerned with was helping the people of Bretonia progress by various technological advancements, this including experimenting with various weapons to support 'our' military. Little did I know, things were actually spiralling out of control.
As time passed, me and a few other researches began to doubt the intentions of the Bretonia government and military. It turned out that the nuclear weapon prototypes our team had produced, have been 'borrowed' by them while we were being send on various exploration missions around Sirius in order to gather and analyze planets' resources. Needless to say after discovering such valuable information we tried to go public, but before we knew it, me and two of my fellow physicists were thrown in the BPA Newgate Prison in the Manchester system. Time runs slowly inside the prison cells, or when being transferred to Planetform bases of operation in the Taus and having weak-minded fools conducting experiments on you in order to extract information.
During the 5 years of my stay in the BPA Newgate, my hate towards the government and the companies grew stronger and just recently I managed to escape the fortress with the help of a corsair prisoner I met there. Unfortunately he and my team weren't that lucky. We managed to take over a Planetform transport by force and make it to the Omega-5 system, after being heavily damaged by the police authorities and the military. Having only intermediate piloting education, because of the time I spent in prison, luck was on my side as I was barely able to fly the transport deeper into the Omegas after the Corsair pilot and scientists had died from their wounds. And here I am now, gathering information and readings of the Military's doings while drowning the horrible memories with the Corsairs' wonderful rum.
I managed to send two probes into planet Sarum earlier this week, when I was passing through the Cambridge system once again, perhaps I was feeling a bit nostalgic. The data hasn't been completely analyzed yet, but initial readings suggest the use of improved nuclear devices and without doubt there were numerous detonations over the last month. Little do these imbeciles know, that the ice crystals there are being formed by living microorganisms, so they can protect the precious gases they need in order to survive. This is why I decided to seek help from the Protectors of Nature, known as the Gaian Guard. Abominations such as these must be stopped, unless we want the recent history of Sprague and so many other countless worlds to repeat itself, and again just because the corrupt authorities decided that destroying one's natural habitat would earn them profit. My mind is completely made up - I wish to support your cause as best as I can.
These are some groundbreaking news you brought to us. Native lifeforms on Sarum still undiscovered by Cambridge's scientific community? Intriguing. Just like the nuclear weapons project you mentioned. I can assure you that some of your future colleagues will flood you with queries about it.

Hello my fellow Gaians. My name is Joaquin Che Araya, and I believe we can help each other.
As to if that belief proves to become symbiotic remains to be seen, but I'm confident that if you allow me proper audience to consider my proposal, the mutual benefits of folding me into your ranks will become apparent.
First, I should make absolutely clear that I am not a fighter pilot. I fight for the Gaian cause in my own way, and that way is financial.
I am part of a very small trading co-operative known as LochNet, and although I have lost direct contact with my business partner for a little over a year now, the co-operative is still functioning as originally intended, and is continuing to grow.
For my part, I captain the freighter "GreenthInc." and have spent my time over the seasons solidifying trade relationships with our allies and sympathizers not only in Bretonia and Kusari, but to a lesser extent, I have gained a toehold into the Borderworlds and even as far away as Rheinland as well.
I feel that now is the time to offer my allegiance to the Guard, not only to hopefully facilitate expansion of the Lochnet Co-operative, but much more importantly, to do my duty and serve the Movement in ways that money simply can't buy.
If you consider my proposal and choose to open a dialogue with me, I will be a completely open book.
