The plans themselves were not called into question at all, despite them being riddled with errors for the other Core guys to correct and feel good about themselves for.

The Corvo has been nerfed in the wake of the update classifying Gunboat Turret mounts to an insane degree, on the level of having one heavy Gunboat Turret slot, and an ungodly large powercore giving it the capacity to have 5 heavies.
On the upside, it can now mount a Gunboat Missile... which is instantly outclassed by the Razor that was mounted there before due to an amazing lack of Pulse weaponry if you're flying with that.
The powercore has stayed the same, though, so groups using this as a Hyperspatial Scanner are not affected at all by this.
But those using it as a Gunboat killer now have to actually think beyond "I want that ship dead now" in fights.
Experts have come to the conclusion that the Corvo needs at least five Heavy Gunboat Turret slots to effectively use its powercore in combat, because, as it stands, the Corvo is a Cruiser-priced hybrid between a Cruiser and a Gunboat that can't even use the more energy-hungry Gunboat toys.
