These Disco suicide threads always bring out the best in the Community. It's like someone standing precariously on the edge of a tall building and the Community below chanting: JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! Do we have so many Community members that we can afford to push someone off the edge?

Garret just slammed the nail in the exact right place.
I completely agree with this post

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

All I can notice here is few butthurt members and thread should be closed in order to avoid further retardation. No more, no less.

95% of these threads end up with the topic creator coming back a week or so later. Those that actually do stay away wouldn't come back regardless of the replies. Joke posts are the only right response(joke response followed by wishing the dude well is also valid if you talk to the TC often enough). I do agree the outright flame posts are a bit much, even then I doubt it truly has much of a impact on whether the person ends up staying away or coming back later.

I don't believe leaving threads accomplish anything worthwhile. The poster normally engages in a prolonged rant about whatever, thus incurring flames from Community members. To be honest, I feel the Mods should lock them up on site, and maybe invise them if the OP gets too out of line.

Better yet make a separate sub forum that auto locks thread when posted.
