You know the fun part? The second assault i had, it was by a red hessian, he did really good roleplay though he ended up attacking me, we became friends after that and fighting eachother on connecticut before.

But this last guy who assaulted me: "15m or we destroy you"

Thats it, i swear, that was his roleplay. I even went with my rheinland soldier, and guess what, he said the same thing, he asked for money, to a soldier.

Now, not trying to find anything to get revenge, but he was a damn freelancer, aren't freelancers supposed to not being able to pirate you?

No, they can not.

Freelancers are people not affiliated with any faction in particular. They generally operate independent trade ships or small ships. They sometimes act as mercenaries, but mostly just explore Sirius, taking the odd job here or there to pay for fuel and supplies.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a Freelancer, who:

Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect an friendly or allied ship.
Can fulfill any bounty and escort contracts, and may treat transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo, except for the Pirate Train.
Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats



So its up to you to decide what to do, you can:

1: report them , or wait for someone else to report them

or

2: Starve them out by changing your name, your route and time you do it.

I stand by my early statement...

Sounds like someone is out to get you. Change your name, do a different run, and starve the pirate... Its an in RP reaction to being driven out of business in that sector... The pirates end up drying up their source of income and do themselves in.

GOOD Pirate characters know better than to kill the golden goose that lays the eggs.

As for the meta gaming part, read the link, it is very informative...if one person can do it, all should be able.
