I the sarcasm.
Sarcasm aside, this is exactly the type of useless crap I would like to see deleted. I detest the negativity of the initial post from someone who blatantly just wants to fill a devoid game with people he used to play with because he sees value in a game that was never intended to be a Role Play game. In my opinion, if you like Elite then you don't like Role Play because you are alone on that game. Who cares about "realism" when you have to fly 6 months to find someone. What a waste, hope you enjoy it.
Elite games are empty. You can't even guarantee that when you log back on that you'll be anywhere near the people that you saw the last time you were on. There's got to be some fantasy in the fiction. To much realism and the hard point of reality smacks you in the face: Space is lonely and you're going to die alone.
I wouldn't play Elite for anything. I love Freelancer. I've fallen in love with Disco. The thought and care that the Developers and Admins and Angels put into what they do here is by far better than any other game I've ever played.
Yes, there are people who play for blues. They hate RP. That's why when they target me, I put a bounty on them. They have to RP that way. And it gives me a sense of revenge.
But in the end, we all just want to have fun. You do your fun, and leave us to ours. Because we don't want you to come here anyway with that crappy attitude.
Disco forever!

We have some fun guys here, and I grew up with Freelancer, and it's great to see what a bunch of people created from vanilla without the support of a big gaming development studio. All we have here is created with the love to the detail and personal interest of the people that created it.

You know freelancer wasn't really a Roleplay game right?
I love free speech but it has its limits when people get a little to pissy over nothing. You could've settled with Elite isn't really your cup of tea.
On topic as much fun as I have on elite its the lore that keeps me hanging around here.
Couse i don't know any other similar FREE Elite type multi player game .
Also couse Capitols are so beautiful to look , and also hoped one day they will be balanced !
Hey look, a walking bottle of lemon juice came back to seek attention.
Elite: Dangerous is hardly a game, first of all, let alone one worth 50 USD. I got about ~20 hours of enjoyment out of it until it turned into a more boring version of Euro Truck Simulator, without the best features of ETSMP like random people driving by and honking their horns at you. In fact, I encountered a total of 5 random people the entire time I played, three of them in a faction warfare "hot zone" or whatever that I sat in with my friends for a few hours. Them asking me to pay another 50 USD for an expansion is just a slap in the face at this point.
Besides, I lead an official faction now. I'm essentially obligated to see that the faction not only meets activity requirements, but prospers, and by the looks of things, I think it's going swell for my faction.
