I used to do that Eventually killed my motivation to play entirely because I either played and got ganked, played and got no interaction or played and got some extremely boring interaction I desperately wanted to get out of. I haven't enjoyed my time outside of conn in a long while because of that. (I also used to be a ganking twit every once in a while and gave bad/boring interaction to people so I guess I'm being hypocritical but w/e.)

I don't think that that's good advice.

If you want my opinion read what @Omicega said in the PRIME feedback thread. That pretty much hits the point dead on. If you gank, expect ganks in return. Ganking is rarely excusable.

I'm using the Blue Revolution theme so I thought it was pretty painted in black already. My apologies for disappointhing thy holiness of roleplay and fairness with my meagre post.

At the very least I can say I haven't ganked anyone (at least not an offensive operational gank).

There is no way to mediate ganking on the server. Sure, there's personal reponsibility but in the heat of the moment it's confusing. Obvious ganks are obvious, but hindsight is 20/20 as well. I mean the topic itself doesn't really need much past personal suggestions on how to play the game and get enjoyment out of it, and that's entirely subjective.

You should probably read less emo-tier garbage edgy novels so you don't recognise everything you read as being one.

Edit: I probably shouldn't chuckle at an 18 year old flinging an age-related insult, but it failed at offending me.

But the arguments in question are a product of reason. It's simply idiotic to carry a negative attitude towards encounters. That in itself undermines the servers own sustainability. Ergo, n00bl3t's post was stupid.

Now Yber, I know you of all people would surely have some very interesting opinions regarding the RP > Gameplay debacle. So perhaps make an effort to contribute to the discussion rather than making a silly quip. It could prove quite fruitful for you, for once.
