New Ship Skins

Hey Xu, sorry I hadn't seen your post until now. Looks like you know your way around Freelancer ship skinning... how are you with realistic looking textures? As you can see my mission here (though it's now on an unfortunate hiatus while I deal with a lot of other stuff) is to re-skin the ships of Discovery to look well used, grimey and battered.

For a reference of the kind of effect I'd like to achieve on the "Lego" ships in Discovery, take a look at any Rhineland ship (including the Rhineland Bomber). The tones are subtle and dull, with a lot of grunge / scratches and dirt all over the textures. My next target in this mission was going to be the Talon Heavy Fighter, as I felt this is a popular fighter with a horribly clean, paint-by-numbers skin ;0)

So if you feel up to the task, grab a hold of one of the textures of anoter ship (I'm sure the Slipstream could use an update, plus it's cockpit glass texture needs fixing) and unleash some skills!

Nice,, and nice to see some old favorites like the Viper... How about Firefly... I know that it is out there...

Even a list of where the ships are avail... and LVL requirement would be nice

And sorry again, but no one in their right mind would give you a list of the ships' locations and lvl needed to buy them. Wouldn't be much "Discovery" in that would there?
