Just write comms and a bio, man.

Or when you see me smuggling, accept bribes.

Worst-case scenario, your Navy char takes retirement and ends up making ends meet as an escort pilot or something that isn't singled out on the player list for pews.

Remember, Lib Navy is, at the end of the day, an ID that is there to shoot first and shoot again later, in contrast to Liberty Police or LSF which have more paperwork. The assumption when a Lib Navy is logged is that they want pews, and if they don't, well, space is dangerous.

Edit: I read the MD post. Come to the dark side with that char. We have cookies.

Channel your energy into another region or faction to help you calm down. A change of pace can be really helpful.

This is pretty much what I did when I got bored playing my Xeno way back in the day. I switched to a Freelancer who mainly stuck to Kusari with side-trips to Bretonia and it really refreshed my interest in the game at the time.

Edit: If you still want a military faction, or their ships, try policing, instead. You can be a lot more lenient from an inRP standpoint, I feel. Alternatively, go for quasi-lawful, if you want the occasional pew.

This. This right here. I don't mindlessly +1 stuff normally, but Lyth nailed it.

For example, back when I lead JM, Junker drama basically killed the entire game for me. I was thinking about quitting completely because certain players were just utterly nuking my enjoyment and making me miserable.

Instead, I put my energy into making Core. What a lovely result for me, and everyone else, I'm sure we can all agree (sun) .

Navy factions are mostly PVP focused, if you have Navy ID you are a target for unlawfuls or enemy factions. If you are dying to better players you need to practice more and learn everything but you not gonna learn everything in a day, month or year. It takes time to learn Discovery PVP
I wish Discovery HAD Better PVP for Newbies. People who playing this game for a long time have advantage over newbies by a lot. I mean a veteran player with little support can survive from hostile Fleet thats nearly 2 or 3 times bigger.

I find this weird. I get used to people that leaving because of some toxic players but not this one.
