I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the event so much - the pictures look great by the way, they should make a good news report.

Big thanks to everyone who worked with me to make this thing happen, it really was great. Yes Petr, even you - not many people could manage to impersonate a Head of State and a Fleet Admiral with no warning and get away with it....:laugh:

As one of those "average Joes", i watched the show from a distance (as was required by the BAF) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done by all. It was not your normal event, where it's a pretense for PvP, but a well thought out idea with words instead of guns.

I asked a few times how close i could.

I had a LSF ID but no one anseared. Also.. i froze for about 5 secounds when i got to the planet.. there were like what.. 12+ capital ships and swarms of fighters there? lol

Ok fellas. All of you who missed this or could not come for whatever reason to this great event can go and try to get the feeling now.

I made news report about it in the same post as the Treaty due to logical reasons.

My thanks to LeMaitre being the primus motor behind this, as well as co-authoring the news article with me. And thanks to the countless people attending the event making it a really big event. Also I stole one pic from patriot because I had no pics of my own from the "orbit battle", so he can't be mad at me because I give credits to him here. :)


I had fun. What made this special was that the event was focused on RP conversation and not as a pretext to pew-pew like most of the events are. That's why I put so much effort to documenting it and selecting many of the screens in the report. Sorry about the imageshack's popups, but at least the pics are available there.

I wish people would make reports of the events too afterwards, so those who could not come would at least enjoy the fruits of the hard labor people who arrange the event.

it was a great event, and glad I got to bring out the ole Battleship (BB) for a spin, shame the GMG owns the sigma's or kusari and rhineland could do something like it too, their BS would be a bit more impressive...

seperate note, both the president and the queen were both played by doubles!

Nice vids... though, you should have disabled the log messages and the death messages (outside of the system if you can do that)

that was an awsome event, and holding off those hackers so the dignitaries could get away safely was an unexpected twist.
