If we're to include both,I'd do it the other way around. Demilitarize the old-style models and make them Coalition civilian.
I've noticed something, too. Everybody who tells me that the old ships were fine aside from the hitbox never flew the damned things. If that were the case, we'd have taken new hitboxes and been happy. Nobody who flew for the SCRA in 4.85 was sad to see them go. If we get them back, everybody will be happy with the look, then go right on flying Hessian ships instead.

I think you seriously underestimate my capabilities as a balance developer compared to Mjolnir. We are not in the realm of 4.85 anymore where the development team stonewalls and refuses to look for solutions to obvious issues. In regards to the models, I did not want to be blunt here, but I will.
Your new models have a very simple and blocky shape and a very simple texture job, verging on cartoonish. The use of a black, extremely flat, 128x128 station texture covering the vast majority of the hull leaves much to be desired, and while the lack of a cockpits on Xing's redone models leaves a lot to be desired as well, they have the appearance of ships which clearly belong in Freelancer.
Neither option is optimal, but when faced with them I have to go with the ones we already had in the pipes. I don't want to see you give up modeling because of this because you certainly show a lot of promise, but as these are now, they're not something I could see being a part of Discovery Freelancer.

While sad, Im looking forward to seeing new fast SCRA snubs
Edit:
I hope those models by Xing will be getting a new texturing cause the current color scheme if the coalition isn't the drab gray of old, we have a more slick black stealth fighteresque look. If not I guess it's ok, I'll just be salty, but slightly less then I am currently about the snubs
We were actually hoping to move away from EdgyBlackOnEverything™ in general and move towards a more Soviet look. They're also certainly not a drab gray, more of a gunmetal blue. Of all the old SCRA ships, the only one which ever possessed a drab gray was the second incarnation of the Typhoon circa 4.86

Yes please.
The OP variant is a glorified loki.
I don't need to remind the community how piss the loki is.
