Move or Remove the sun from Omicron Kappa?

Also the fact that most of the "Oh it's just for one ai player" responders didn't read the 2nd part of what I wrote is just funny. I specificly mentioned that putting the sun between Delta and Gamma hole instead would give an AI player better time to respond when logging from Gammu. Right now everyone that enters kappa from Delta or Gamma has literally enough time to quickly escape to the other system before an AI even reaches the sun in the middle from Gammu which is stupid.

Also AFK trading as an AI, seriously? 90% of the AI Playerbase uses only AI Ships or used to if you will by your judgement of that I am the only one playing in this faction which is another idiotic statement.

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of another "here's a system you just get murdered by robots/squid/phantoms for passing through" idea, and ultimately that's what this sounds like to me. You want it to be easier to hunt and kill people for passing through a system that frankly most of them probably wouldn't be in in the first place if the Omicron layout wasn't garbage to begin with.

If anything changes in the vicinity, I want it to be a proper cohesive fix to all the Omicron bollocks, not just adjustments of individual solars to make things easier for one faction at a time. That's how you just make the problem even worse.

Lyth had an idea about that a while ago. Maybe it oughta be looked at again.

oh quit your complaining about Snak already, the man is the head of an Official Faction the ONLY official Ageira faction and made a request to move the station for RP purposes. Moving a sun because you cant be bothered to fly around it is lazy.

EDIT: Make an Ageira faction if you are so bothered by it and go official to challenge him.

I haven't complained about Snak3 himself, you have missed the point entirely.

I don't care if Snak3 wants a station to be moved, he is entitled to think that it should be. There are also plenty of things I'd like to change about the mod for my own personal convenience but that doesn't mean I think they should be proritized or implemented.

There is nothing wrong with the system, we need story progression not layout changes cuz you are to lazy to fly around a sun.

Aggressive story progression is the last thing we need, the mod should provide us with a setting in which to roleplay. We're here to tell our own stories not sit on the sidelines or be pawns in Kaze and Unseelie's special show.

Wrong. This is exactly the sort of thing mod development should be focusing on. Gameplay improvements. Things that make the mod better to play for everyone, not for one person or a small privileged group.

Paying attention to details, updating old stuff yeah that's something that should be focused on but like that's a whole nother topic while everything else is just being left to rot in their story progression, only a single region of the whole map is being focused on, talking about "Focusing on story progression" I haven't seen that being done for every single faction across Sirius, their stance, their current situation, which goals have been achieved, lore updates, where is each faction standing in the global lore rn. I'm just more concerned with making the game better for the actual players than I am with having small privileged cliques that fight their battles on the forum getting their powergamey fanfiction into the mod.

This change is a good idea and would take very little developer time to achieve, Kalh's reasons for not doing it are not. To say that gameplay improvements shouldn't be made to systems for lore reasons while having been in favour of edits to other systems just because they were requested by a faction leader is hypocritical, to say the least.

Yea what Pillow said, it seems like a lot of changes that happen are completely arbitrary. I don't see how moving a star in Kappa can be much of a problem. I mean, they had no problem removing Eta only to give its purpose to Xi, or to add Omicron 81 as Omicron Tau, then replace it with what was Omicron-80

Or adding 30 Gallia systems only to purge them throughout the years, moving systems around, moving bases, then purging almost all of it entirely where you can't tell if stuff is RPd out or simply retconned

Just move the sun so people can have an easier time, it pales in comparison to the other mess that is system changes
