I think there are some inconsistencies and contradictions with the existing lore, and I've qualms about using 'Vong'... but the concept of a Nomad parasite is actually kinda interesting.

Feel free to point out any inconsistencies and contradictions you might have found, I will be more than glad to correct or explain any findings that might have been overlooked. As for Vong, why not?

Whoever made this might have been afraid of this community's habit to overreact negatively on new factions, so they made a flood thread to test the ground first. Smart choice, though it's sad it had to come to that.

A valid concern, this is why the faction info page states that only forward scouts have arrived in Sirius at the moment.
They will explore, only should officialdom be obtained and an actual ID be made could nomads realistically fight nomads.

It's like someone went like "Yo, I heard your faction infects people, so I came up with a subfaction of that faction that infects members of that faction", like I dunno, infectionception. And this being in Flood is very much a signal.
