The way FLserver is designed, the only way to make it run faster is by using a Faster CPU - more number of cores will not matter as it's incapable of using it...
How about putting a better Core 2 Duo - probably an Extreme series and using Phase cooling....
That's the only way to push the CPU core higher...

If the FL software can't support dual cores, why not get a single core P4 HT or something, a better cooling system, and OC it to 4Ghz+? Of course, would have to keep it low enough that it stays stable..

Here's a good question: Ignoring the unlikelyhood of a new server, what would our donations be used for, other than the obvious server bandwidth, maintenance, etc?

From memory, she's at 4Ghz now...majkp might try to increase it to 4.5 sometime soon.
