Hey, Quick question. The whole "cant be mined by anything except surveyors or tournez" thing in the Ore-of-mystical-functions. Does that mean that one can't mine it mechanically? Because if so, then I have a bug report. If that means that I'm gonna get sanctioned for doing it because im simply "not supposed to", then I have done a big oof, and would like you to elaborate that in the commodity id lines for next time.

Only the Surveyor and Tournez get a mining bonus on the ore, but the drops are so high that many people just mine it in their transport using normal guns.

JUMP HOLE COLLAPSE

The temporary, unstable jump holes in the Brittany and Omega-5 systems are starting to show signs of instability, usually a tell-tale sign that the jump holes are close to collapsing. Pilots are warned to avoid entering these jump holes, as this may lead to sudden death by gravitational forces, or being lost outside of civilised space.

Experts speculate that the holes will collapse sometime today.

I hope i do not mispost if i write here how much i, myself, and clearly others enjoyed this Event!

There where great interactions, roleplay and fun with a lot of People while Pirating, Trading, been escorted by protection vessels, and with different Miners.

I stumbled over the event ingame, pure casuality, and now I feel even a bit strange getting back to my old routes flying alone in space, no pirate, no other trader. But that's ok, just hope something similar will come up soon, i would be greatful!

We where a group of up to over 11 Yesterday, it was great!

This was a very welcome exercise in diversity. Thank you very much for your hard work.

This was a delightful event. I also stumbled on it by accident by running into a Freelancer in Omega 5, and it all felt very organic and authentic to me. Discovery is at its best when players are given a space to carve out little stories for themselves, and I look forward to seeing what else the dev team comes up with to facilitate that. Nicely done!
