The brothers looked up, blank faces laid upon the ensign. Very good...now, to make a call to your old nanny. Edmund knew that such a task would be difficult for the younger man, but the Norfolk was on standby to track the call and it's recipient. Victor had already argued against telling Henrich, but Edmund was not in favour of lying if the man could help. Please...when you are ready.

Roger. He said with a bit of hesitation, has actions didn't reflect it though, they were automatic. He hid the nervousness behind his eagerness to understand, Freyja had never been straight with him - or now so it seemed. It was the same story again and again, it was a bit frustrating to the boy that this is what it would take to crack a difference answer out of her, if there was a different answer.

The nervousness though, was more in the uncertainty of what would happen if Freyja did say what the Admirals wanted to hear. What would they do with her? She didn't deserve to be a hostage, even with this one blank spot in his consciousness Isaak still appreciated what she had done for him.

Isaak pulled a small PDA out of his pocket, the display on a very thin layer of glass resembled a cell phone, but still a bit different.

He brought the PDA close to his ear, there was a small box that latched onto the side. it's where the display projector originated from, and where the audio output was.

Freyja.

You're saying that like it's a bad thing.

No it's just, I'm sorry.

I'm just messing with you, what's up? How do the stars look from out there?

It's great, really it is. But... look can we meet up sometime? I need to talk with you about something.

Something wrong? I'm still home, you're always welcome.

No... it's just important... that's all I guess.

Well, just let me know when you're going to swing by.

I will, stay safe.

It certainly wasn't the conversation Victor was expecting, but then there wasn't much else to talk about without giving too much away. Another officer entered the room and whispered into the Admiral's ear and handed him a paper before leaving. We have the location, although since you are going to meet her in person, we will be deadly accurate with this operation. The admiral said, pleased at how well it was going thus far.

The fewer people who know, the better. So we will avoid involving the Governor General if we can help it. You will meet with miss Freyja, ask her what you wish to know, I advise you do this quickly because the SAS will be right behind you. We cannot allow her to escape ensign, she may know far more than she is letting on.

In short Heinrich, we are putting a great deal of trust in you to see this through. Likewise, we are asking you to trust us. We will do everything in our power to ensure Freyja does not come to harm. But this is a matter of the utmost importance. Not only is national security at stake but it is a matter of honour as well. Anna Henrich was directly responsible for the destruction of the H.M.S Gwent, the Armed Forces owes her for that.

While Victor spoke, Edmund read what the officer had dropped off and announced with an apologetic voice I am sorry Ensign. She is indeed your mother. Your results have been confirmed with a DNA match.

Victor then presented a file and slid it toward the ensign. This is the information we have on her, I believe it is only appropriate that you know who she is. And, in keeping with our policy of honesty, you should note that given this information, we do not believe for a moment that Anna Henrich would simply 'loose' a child, nor would she send them anywhere without protection. That is why we are interested in Freyja.

The blue in his eyes became more and more apparent after Fleet Admiral Steiner spoke over his brother. It sent chills down his spine at first, but didn't quite strike him enough to be paralyzed, he was still focused on understanding his new priority.I will sir, I... how did you get her DNA sample sir? There was an obvious hint of frustration Freyja knew something, the only question was what? It took another moment or so of him pondering what to do in order for him to really feel the effects of the mental bullet that had just struck. His heart was racing, the first layer of his uniform would surely be soaked by the time he left the Admiral's office.

He grabbed the file in an attempt to break the mental paralysis that had struck him suddenly, hoping it would give him the answers he wanted. But all he felt was sadness when he started reading it. He felt like the spawn of Satan, or something close to that anyways.

Nevermind sir I'll make preparations to get underway back to Exeter. She looked like a monster on file, the scars looked like they had been branded onto her. Isaak took another moment to really study the appearance of her new found "mother" before he shut the folder and snapped his attention back to the Admirals.

We'll find out what we can, sir.
