This is the sitch: I don't like Zoners, I mean what do you do? The only trade/neutral-ish faction I'm in is ALG and that's going to get helluva fun now with the FR5 and upcoming ID changes.

But I do like caps, and from time to time do missions on Neph

What I saw
I log empty, and order starts their very short spiel you can see in the logs
A guy with nomad remains from missions cargo
and most likely Order who just undocked from FP where they do missions saw him (I wasn't there)

The chessboard
It was always going to end the same way
- the 2 nephs shoot torps they have for missions, order dodge by cruising, nobody kills anybody
And nephs just dock when they get tired of trying to kill weak ships as all heavy BS do without support near a base...

Weak RP
As you see from logs, order had no intention of role playing, chatted to drop engagement lines, asked people to come
and then a Coalition bomber appears and starts fiting - probably from their group too?

Boredom ensues
Well when I bring the over the top amounts of money up I was ready for some nice legal back and forth, and actually would be cool to see how people RP order - I just bought an Osiris myself and love it!

Instead they all full - bore and just start firing.

The "fight"
What do you expect - 20 minutes of heavy BS firing at weaker ships, weaker ships running with 0 chance of anyone killing anybody
And then both docking.


Conclusion
Opportunity lost for some fun RP
Just use your brain a bit and think about how "the fight" will look vs 2 nephs right next to dock

I was actually spamming in private chat to just dock because this will be boring for everyone...

Half the "fight" was their 2 Osirae (?) cruising away from torpedoes without ever firing. An opportunity lost to have some RP action on a zoner char for the first time

Isn't that sanctionable already? I vaguely remember someone getting sanctioned for killing a Zoner then docking on said Zoner base.

- Can demand Alien Artifacts, Nomad equipment and Nomad remains from any ship, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
Definitely not server rule sanctionable. It was obvious they had 0 intent to roleplay and all their lines indicated hostile intention, and were leading to engagement. They stayed within what ID allows them to do and server rules.

Very likely possible to give them nodock on Zoner bases with a lot of effort. Like I said I don't care and I won't bother, I'm just there randomly logging neph a couple times a week. If OP does, good for him.

Opportunity lost for good RP is all and a pointless fight with pre-determined outcome

What I seen from to logs - I can recommend only one thing. If any side wants some reasonable and fun RP, that side should stop mocking the other side. Unreasonable demands won't go far either.

EDIT: I RP with my "enemies" quite often, and being somewhat respectable may defuse situation very well.

Well yeah ok
Maybe I had too much fun with it

Because I saw the situation for what it was - it was pointless for them to start shooting and we were on home turf and outgunned them hard (without actually having the chance to actually kill them unless they mess up, as is the case on all heavy BS that are without CD support)

I doubt it'd matter - you saw their private chats lol, they were there for one thing, and that thing was boring

I just docked after 20 minutes of "fighting" with full regen and begging the other guy to do it first - since I assumed a zoner char wouldn't just abandon another one under fire in FP no fire zone
