What advantages does it get?
Superior Technology? Please point me to the rumor.
More fuel, certainly.

That fuel aint reachin' the front lines if I've anything to say about it!

Anyway, Kusari is currently winning, however, we do have a rather risky strategy to turn Kusari's spearhead assault around, and cut their lines of communication.

It'll be like how Napoleon lost. Great at tactics, less so at strategy.

Theres a difference between losing due to poor strategy and losing because he was desperate and didn't manage his resources well.

And letting his attacks be staved off until the Prussians arrived.

On an on-topic note, I really have nothing to say. Igiss wills the Kusari advance, its happening, just adapt your role around it. How can we play a story that we make up as we go along?

How it will end?... draw. Emperor exchange Leeds for Harris and BMM base in T23. While Harris stay neutral (part of peace treaty), base in 23 would be new main base of KNF for operations in Taus and whole T23 would be buffer zone between Kusari and new Galian house (something like Bering).

It is for Iggis best solution... Kusari win but Bretonia didnt loose,,, nobody from players will be upset and everything will be fine. It also make sense from tactical and strategical view so it looks realistic (war is alive as long as politician want).

4.86 (or 87) will be about Bretonian invasion into omega 49 (takeover of Gran Canaria), interaction between Kusari and Galia (cooperation against outcasts?) and main story line would be about war between Rheinland and Liberty.

That is poor strategy.

Tactics is battlefields, strategies are grand troop movements and lines of communication and resources.

it is exactly as Blunt describes, you can win actual battles, but if you bugger it up on the grand scale of things, well, you're buggered! Japan and Germany won many many battles, but ala Chindits, Royal Marine commando's, SAS and the like, they were slowly but surely beaten in very clever operations which crippled their efforts to win in the Grand Campaign.

And Kambei, the best solution is 'status quo ante bellum' or my personal preference, conquest of Kusari.
