Good Morning Campers,

For our lovely new hires, I have a somewhat small pile of outstanding projects. In hopes to clear our backlog, and totally not a way to occupy your time and keep you away from the station.

Our first project, A-109-3, is a pretty simple turn and burn. Starting at Barrier Gate Station C, you'll need to pick up a research expedition (//Commodity: Survey Team). They are bound for Planet Mindanao, Tau 44. Yes the radioactive one. I would make sure to check out a hazmat suit from Jimmy down in acquisitions. Once you arrive in orbit you'll need to deploy them (//eject the commodity and screen shot). The expedition has their own landing craft and will make their way to the surface from there. Report in on this frequency and payment of 5 units of scientific data will be credited to your account.

Our second project, A-110-5. Is slightly more complex. Starting at Freeport 6, you'll need to pick up two research teams (//Commodity: Research Corps). After pick up proceed to the Chao Field, Baffin. One team has requested a flyby of the two moons within the field. While the other group wishes a general survey of the field overall. After completing both tasks the teams will then need to be delivered to Shasta Orbital Skyhook to attend a conference. Report in on this frequency and a payment of 5 units of scientific data will be credited to your account.

Director,

I wish to report on the success of my most recent expedition. Starting at Freeport 10, in Tau 37, we departed with quite the bundle of goods. From additional crew, food, oxygen, water. As well as numerous additional advanced equipment's, supplemental power units, and the all important, duct tape. From there we made our way to Freeport 6, Tau 29. To pick up a few additional research teams and a new Reconnaissance Module for delivery. After final checks were complete we began the long burn to Delta. After numerous hours, with sadly nothing exciting to report we arrived at 14. We'll be here a few days to oversee the research team handoff as well as monitor the installation of the new reconnaissance array.

Good news all around, Dr. Wright. I look forward to reading the results after my own Research Mission is concluded.

I've departed for the Omicrons to lead a research missions out in the deep Edge Worlds in the mysterious region of "Omicron Lost". The Odd Ratio has been left in the capable command of Dr. Bartholomew for the duration of my visit to the Omicrons. During this time, I'll be stationed out of Corinth in Omicron Kappa. If you need to reach me, you may contact me there aboard the Chaos Theory as the Endurance is not yet complete and ready for research missions of this magnitude. Sadly, that means we're all going to be cramped on this Corvo for some time.

I'll report here with any extraneous findings.

Dr. Montgomery - Good luck out there, chief! When you get back, there'll be a case of Liberty Ale waiting for you behind the counter in the Deck 6 lounge, as a little "welcome home" gift.

Dr. Wright - Just got in yesterday from picking up your associates on Freeport 6 and tourin' up through Baffin. They had a nice view from the top deck's observation room. Being a single person show, I usually just use it for storage, but thankfully there was still barely enough room for them and their equipment, and the Spatial's in-built survey systems accommodated 'em pretty good.

It was smooth sailing passing in orbit around Hodge and Podge (seriously?), though we did bump into what looks like a derelict Crayter bomber near the end of my loop around the wider Chao Field. The researchers urged me that it was a bad omen and started making a bunch of worried noises. I felt the same, so I shuttled 'em over to Shasta for the drop-off now that they have something to gossip about at the conference. It might be worth phoning Yuma and asking if they have the craft logged as MIA.

If you've got any more projects that need followed up on in the Omegas, let me know. I'm planning on leaving base for a bit here in the near future to map them out for myself and get fresh eyes on affairs there, likely basing off Canaria. The other grant in 44 is more suited to Mr. Schwarz I think, considering the neighborhood. Better that the survey team is watched out for by something with teeth.

Subject: Progress on Yaese Research Station

We have tentatively finished our research mission in the Omicrons with another pending in a few weeks. For now, we have enough data for our analysts to sort through and investigate. In the meantime, we've taken the Endurance out to Yaese again to see about brute forcing the computer systems to allow docking as presently the docking computer doesn't respond.

So far, the systems onboard the Endurance, despite being underpowered without the planned overhauls to the ships over all processing power, have been able to clear the first couple of hurdles by decrypting information that might allow us access to the station. Nothing concrete yet but what we've found is somewhat...disconcerting.

There is a distinct lack of data from what I've been able to find. Almost as if the data was outright erased. All that remains is fragmented data in patterns I've not seen in modern computer systems. It appears a data corruption of some type was instituted followed by a wipe, only leaving fragments behind. We're not sure who built the station or for what, but being out here is eerie. The hairs on the back of my neck are regularly standing up with a sense of dread. I haven't quite figured out why yet, but hopefully it's just my nerves being frayed from a lack of a vacation.

I think a stay at Curacao might be in store...provided that it isn't apart of Bretonia by the time we get back to that region of space...if the news reports are anything to be believed, that is.

Aspen,

Great work, good to know that you're in the Omegas and just as eager as ever pick up projects. It just so happens we got a fresh request in just this morning. Grant Fulfillment: O-211-B. This one should be easy enough. You'll need to proceed to Freeport 5, Omega 41. There you'll find a group of researchers (//Commodity: Survey Team) eager to explore the Omega 11 system. Specifically Planet Deidus, I would strongly recommend you upgrade your static dust control system, rumors are that the dust on the surface of the planet is finer than any other naturally occurring particulate matter, fine enough to literally ruin electronics. After allowing the team to perform their survey of the planet you'll need to deliver them to their final destination, Planet Gran Canaira, Omega 48.

Oh, and your scientific data is available for pickup at your leisure.

The Dreamscape has undergone it's repairs and is back in operational service. Although, it's jump drive is still inoperable due to the damages incurred by the anomaly intersecting the hull. We're looking for someone to give us some assistance with this as we lack the resources necessary to repair the damages.

Additionally, I've issued a Grant request to Dr. Wright to publish once we're ready. It involves retrieving 20,000 units of Iridium from Omicron Delta to Ikarus Station for the purposes of researching mineral qualities from the Omicrons. The resources must be mined and not purchased so as to ensure the quality of the materials retrieved. This grant will be payable in credits, not science data. Once the stock is full, the dockmaster will not longer accept any further materials. We have a vessel docked in Omicron Delta for this purpose, feel free to check it out at a station named "The Grotto" and deliver the materials with the vessel in question. Please be sure to return the ship to it's original location once mining is complete. This Grant is pending and is not yet published, we'll let you know once it is.

See me if you have questions.

Howdy, friends. Checking in from Omega-11 space, just outside Mineore Research Station, regarding what I've run across so far here.

I spent a few days on Gran Canaria before getting in motion, and the folks there gave me a rundown of the region before setting off. They filled me in on the presence of the literal Eastern Coalition in O-52 just one connection away, like they'd leaped right out of the history books. Well, apparently these guys are the Sirius Coalition and have been here for some time. I heard a little about this on the Net, but I honestly thought the article was about historical re-enactors, not the actual nation. Truth is stranger than fiction, I reckon. I probably should have turned back after plotting the jump, but I did sneak around their system a bit to get a peek at the planetary bodies.

During my swing up to Omega-55, the Junkers on Bornholm gave me some juicy tips about Planet Skagen in-system being covered in alien ruins, but the place is crawling with Core and there's nowhere safe to slip by and land. They also tried to scare the living hell outta me by saying that if I flew into the Ferner Field, nobody'd ever hear from me again. I hate to admit, it worked, but I couldn't not get a close up of that planetary debris inside - it's massive!

It made for a good opportunity to try out the new cloaking system. Kept me nice and safe and didn't explode, a major plus, but I was getting false radar tracks constantly in the field, like I was being jammed. Still plotted a jump hole and, interestingly, clocked some Rheinland ships I couldn't ID. Pirates, or maybe Rheinland Military operating black-flag? They didn't spot me, thank God, and either way it wasn't my business, so I got the heck outta there. Going to have to consider pouring more money into my radar suite.

Dr. Wright - I bet I know the exact bunch of researchers you're talking about. I figured they'd be interested in a little collab when I chatted them up! Will update you soon on Grant status.

Howdy! I've arrived at Gran Can, safe and sound with the survey team.

I went ahead and took the advice to soup up the dust control system on-board in advance of hitting Deidus. Still, I didn't want to risk a screwup with those people onboard (even if they were kind of snarky with me about my detours), so I dropped some extra cash on a temporary install of a whoooole bunch of plasfoam conduits to keep vital systems protected during the flyover.

I wasn't sure how they'd rate against the planet's particle storms, but they held up quite well at my altitude, despite the safety alerts ringing in my ears. A big "thank you" to the manufacturer for letting me see the world's grim, destructive beauty up close. While I'm here on Canaria, I decided to have 'em rolled in as a component of a larger armor and thruster overhaul, since I'm... let's say, reasonably assuming there's places scarier than Deidus I might end up in some day.

Speaking of those detours, two things of note. First, I had the pleasure of meeting a Sean Goodman, captaining the SLRC ship Dawnstar. Said he ran Freeport 9 back in the day - didn't know we had former Freeport administrators on payroll! I went off-mission a while to give him some company towards the exterior Omicrons, and was blown away by the scale of the Zoner constructions out there! Definitely looking to visit Pygar for a while once I'm ready to tackle the Edge. If you're reading this Sean - stay awesome!

The other point of note was an abandoned depot I ran across on the return trip. No affiliation data or records on construction, which to me says "pirate base", but nobody's home from the looks of it. We'll gab about it when I get back to T-23. Just about ready to RTB, so you'll see me soon.
