The vessel did indeed shine, at least the parts that were coloured brighter than the rest. The two-tone design that was presented tickled something inside of Halpert, giving him a bigger grin than normal.

"Here I am wondering how I was going to get off the planet. Now I have this!"

A brief moment of silence filled the room, the only sounds were the muffled machinery operating outside the glass.

"I got three questions. This entire thing seemed a little too easy, normally we have to pay for stuff or put in a bit of effort to make something happen.

Both of their eyes lock, Halpert's expression reverts back to his normal expression.

"What do you need from me on this? Credits, materials? Secondly... if the ship lands somewhere, will it come up saying that you guys built it? Is the word "foreign tech" the right term?

The spark between his eyes light up again.

"And the last question, very important. Can I get in the cockpit?

There was indeed more that he would need from him. The Starfliers position was difficult. They didn't ship Cardamine, credits didn't interest Harabero enough for the value given, or at least, compared to other things. The Starfliers were known to provide data about uncharted territories.

I suppose that there will be certain commodities we could use. Your neutral stance affects things, but I am sure we can figure something out. What do you have to offer?

The Don smirked at Halperts enthusiasm.

And yes. Yes you can.

Once the words left Harabero's mouth, Halpert was already looking around the doorway that lead out to the construction platform. With none in sight, as this room was simply designed only for observation, Halpert settles down to answer the Maltese's question.

"Hmm... what do I have? I have the ship... suppose I could give it a test run in a system? See how she performs and give you the data for free? I got a chunk of change on my back pocket, so I don't mind doing that. It's what I normally do anyways."

Halpert opens the door that leads out to the foyer, only to duck out and see if there's any obvious way down to the platform. He then remembers he knows nothing about the layout of this place, despite the time he's spent on Malta. He steps back in, leaving the door open.

"What's the best way to get down there?"

His finger excitedly pointed at his ship.

Some data might not hurt. Perhaps there were a few materials he could need.

The data sounds good. There are also some materials that we could use. I will send a list to your neural net. They shouldn't be too much of a trouble. An equal deal for the ship, I would say.

I will show you the way down.

He leads Kennedy down a passageway into a stairwell, and finally in front of the ship. He enters a code on the outer cockpit and it opens.

Well? It's all yours.
