SUBJECT: Internal Report - Production Status

As Susquehanna has ramped up production, McEntyre was requisitioned from Colorado to handle component runs from our suppliers in Kusari. Once cleared our of Propulsion Systems, she entered New London to top off the bays with Superstructure Systems before making the return trip to Cortez. While she had a few hours left on shift before the crew were scheduled for rest, she took care of some in-system supply runs to keep the boys on Susquehanna happy along with hauling some generic industrial components to replenish tool stock for fabrications.

Once on shift, Empire took assignment to Rheinland to check Propulsion System stocks from Daumann. While she was there, she was enlisted to assist in-system supply from Oder along with the load of Niobium she took initially. Crew made good time back to Cortez, enough to handle boarding some raw copper before closing out shift.

McEntyre remains on stand-by for assignment back to Colorado, but I gave the boys leave on to check out Curacao while on-station. They earned a little R&R. McKinley is on floating duty the next 48 hours if needed until McEntyre makes way for Red Rock, so if ya'll have some mail to take back to the family, she'll get it to Baltimore for distribution.

Howdy Folks,

I took old Kinzua out to Galileo just before to mine out some platinum and I don't know but... she felt a bit off? Like her mineral processors weren't quite right. Had a chat with the chief engineer on board and apparently, lights were green across the board, but he agreed- something wasn't right. I think she may need to take a trip back to Baltimore for a bit of TLC- Hell maybe the team over at Hinsdale might take a crack, see if they have any new tech they wanna trial.

Anyhow, thats all. Hopefully we can get the old girl working at full capacity again soon.

[REPORT SUMMARY] THE TAVERN IS ABOUT TO REVOLT
Boss, you won't like hearin' this, but your way didn't win out. These people don't wanna integrate, they don't wanna hear about the regs. Hell, I've drank with them for months, and they still give me the side eye, just because of this damned uniform. Until further notice, I've been stationed on Scottsdale for the ops, for my own safety and the safety of the crew.

What the hell to do about it, eh? Someone like Geller walks in there, and there WILL be blood. But maybe we need to make some examples after all.. Didn't think I'd be sayin' it, but what else is left? I'm sure the C-suite folks will figure it out, and then do the opposite, as usual. Could be worth appealin' to the shareholders, but I think you gotta make this call yourself.

SUBJECT: Internal Report - Strange dealings with the locals

[REPORT SUMMARY 1] Reporting on a dangerous & odd interaction

Good Day, Rolf, all partners.

Normally, prior to being part of DSE we'd have dealt with this internally. Given we now fly as DSE Employee's with the associated DSE Transponders; I feel the need to report happenings which took place yesterday, now that I've had time to collate the facts.

We've encountered no issues at all up to now as DSE, but one of my newest pilots in command of the Lakawaxen River, Mastodon class freighter suffered significant structural damage and although the Captain Burt almost lost his cool and losing his ship, thankfully no loss of life occurred.

To summarise the events which took place, I'll list bullet points.

• On 08/16/835; The Lackawaxen River, Mastodon class under command of captain Burt.
  
• The flight plan was collecting supplies from the Cortez System, coming from New York & returning to California system, light escorts.
  
• At the California side of the New York Gate; Two Hacker ships were encountered. One in a Oasis Class Luxury Liner, the other a Bomber class ship we can't identify.
  
• The Hacker ship names were: E.Kay (Unidentifiable Bomber)and Father.Opposers(Oasis Class Luxury Liner)
  
• Captain Burt used the gift of the gab, so to speak. Managed to escape using small talk. There were no goods on board, maybe that was why.
  
• Captain Burt failed to seek safe dock, he sought to continue the hauling work as production requires on Ozymandias.
  
• The Hackers were lost, but somehow re-appeared taunting a Zoner in Cortez, at the California gate. Burt escaped in the confusion once more.
  
• It was at this point a second run for goods from Leeds was undertaken.
  
• Some less talkative Hackers and Outcasts appeared, after causing considerable damage to the Lackawaxen River, left with 4,300 units of Titanium.
  
• Captain Burt crawled the vessel back to Ozymandias Shipyard where repairs are going underway.
  

To note these final points;

1- The intension of this Neural Net Uplink is to warn other DSE staff in the operational area. I will be educating & disciplining Captain Burt personally, unless Sir Rolf deems further action is necessary.
2- We had a lucky escape with no loss of life.
3- These Hackers seemed to think that Burt had access to a Longhoarn vessel they could steal. We're used to hacker's being a bit more tactful, a tad more bright than these two appeared.
4- The Hackers, despite how they come across have somehow got their hands on a Luxury Liner.
5-We await any further information required/ any action to take.

On a side note, we have a Miner and crew soon to be operational to assist in the Copper fields, or elsewhere as desired by Sir Rolf.
