"Entry twenty. Anniversary, heh."

A heavily modified "Waran" flies through the turbulent expanses of the Pennsylvania system. Though, no battles are currently visible in the footage.

"It's funny how a tiny thing can completely change my approach to combat. Or rather, a huge number of tiny things... Powerful enough to tear apart the hull of my fighter and capable of homing."

"Yes, I'm talking about missiles. The recent breakthrough in very heavy fighter design, which allowed for the installation of additional missile silos on virtually every ship of this type, has rendered over a year of my training useless. I'm used to evading manual fire, not constantly pursuing missiles... I can no longer rely on mere agility in combat."

"It's good that Lachesis took the initiative to outfit the "Bottlenose" gunship a couple of months ago. She was spot on. However, sometimes I need something less imposing. I had to dig out one of my old ships. I don't think I've touched the old "Raven" since I got the "Defender"... And now I suddenly need its bigger brother."

"It may be slower than I'm used to, but the "Waran" has thick armor, which I've made even stronger. And, as a bonus, the excellent powerplant will give me more opportunities to destroy targets. And the torpedoes are a nice bonus."

"Cons, other than it being slow? It's an old design, and frankly, I'd call it outdated. It's worth taking another look at the Core technologies. "Sawback" has become less of a viable option, so I've put it on the shelf, but... Maybe I can do something with "Blacktip". We'll see."
