They are of similar nature in regards to their greed, and it will soon turn them from being an “ally”, to an enemy. An arrangement that will turn as the tides. Though, unlike the Technocracy, the Core are forwarded by the largest sum. It will become obvious when the time arises for their betrayal, as there will be a larger bid for them to chase.

In regards to the Order and Corsairs, A Gardener has already made real their spoken wounds. If you doubt the tangibility of prophecy, speak to Four. As far as my source is concerned, he has already learned how potent such words are. The combined might of these forces is remarkable, and a potential threat, but is not an overlying worry.

It appears we have been out of touch for far too long.

We have observed troubling conduct from the 34th, a recent splinter from the Vanguard that interprets Order law with alarming rigidity. “Stubborn and rude” barely begins to describe them. We are still assessing whether Corsair sympathizers—or outright Corsair agents—have infiltrated their ranks.

You may already know that one of our vessels was destroyed by the 34th near Freeport 11, an incident witnessed from the station’s bar. They claimed our pilot fired first while transporting an artifact, leaving us with no conclusive evidence to dispute their story, so the matter was logged as an “accident.”

A second episode was more egregious: they deliberately delayed an engagement, giving the Corsairs time to bring in reinforcements. Although they have not fired on us directly since, their leniency toward the Imperio is impossible to ignore. Whether this attitude reflects the broader Order is unclear, but the 34th’s sympathies certainly lie in the wrong direction.

Finally, allow me to extend a courtesy: here is a bit of free intelligence. I am unsure why you have drawn their suspicion, but it appears you are now firmly on their watchlist.

⫸ Anyone opposing them is a sworn enemy, Johnathan of Phoenix. Except in this case, they were the ones to shoot first when we were but simple scavengers picking through salvage for a fee. As such, continued retaliation should be an expected outcome. While I respect their paranoia filled thoughts when it comes to strangers in the Omicrons, I could not possibly seek to justify the murder of one of our own in their favor based on cheap superstition.

You have my deepest condolences for your loss in the face of such an undecided, morally ambiguous foe. However, I am sure that by now you know there are no accidents when it comes to The Order. They are careful, well disciplined and cunning. To destroy an entire transport over one artifact in front of your very own home, though? In my eyes that is a statement - a threat even. We now know where they stand in your conflict against the Corsairs. These small... 'hiccups' are simply their way of telling you that the safety of your home is not absolute and that they can pick any excuse they want -- the masses will still believe them.

My family will quietly seek revenge in your name. What I ask of you in return is hard proofs of their treatment towards your kind. Will you be able to provide?

For the time being, focus your efforts between escorting the Lindwurm back to Kaarst and widening that rift forming between Phoenix and the Order. One less friend between the Omicron dwellers makes it easier for those greater than us to sweep in and clean up.

Once Lindwurm arrives, and we receive the full report on Dublin from their experiences, we can assess and move forwards. Consider your time during this period freedom to pursue whichever aims that your squadron desire. From what I heard, some replacements may be in order.

Sorry to hit you up on such a short notice, but we ran into a bit of a dead end over here. You see, me and a few good lads have put up a daring plan to get away with a whole shipment of spare military parts. Trier's dedicated fighter squadrons have been running on fumes this past month, so they're having us source hardware in their stead, before cannibalizing surplus fighters becomes a trend. Following the few weeks of very careful monitoring, I've found a route often used by Daumann to ship military-grade spare parts from one side of Planet Stuttgart to another -- probably a production facility for all I know. They tend to travel in low orbit at fixed intervals by the looks of it, but next week there will be three distinct opportunities to snatch one and get away before things get heated. The plan is pretty straightforward on our end: according to a very reliable source -- *ahem*, weather forecast -- our prized convoy will run into some turbulence on their way their destination. Storms are a bitch for on-board sensors. Now, the *problem* is... we did all the preparations, but missed out on a huge detail that might sting us in the rear: we are absolutely cooked, if they by chance get an emergency signal out. Mnngh...it's been bothering me for a few good hours now. Corporate shipments are tough nuts to crack when they have their security detail at a press of a button. So... I guess I'm asking for a distraction, alright? Anything to muffle SOS calls. The bigger the mess you can make, the higher the chance they won't notice a few vanishing freighters. This can be arranged. I have access to certain.... LWB movement forces. They can be instructed to resurface, cause local law enforcement issues. Might even be able to throw in a few Hessians or Unioners too, for good measure. Though in all likelihood they'd end up devolving into conflict themselves if both were to show up together.

Ensure that you get your target, though. I do not take kindly to diverting forces into a potentially wasteful situation for us to gain naught from it...

Get rid of it.

Unwanted eyes in that region, especially corporate. While the Gauls have been more than fruitful in the past years for bloodying the other Houses, we cannot allow their corporate entities to setup on the front porch of the Omegas. Expect a detachment of forces with the capacity to assist in dismantlement within the next couple of days, they'll know what to do. I don't care who calls the shots on this, only the end result matters.

Oh, and one more thing. Make certain that there are minimal losses. It would do us no good to weaken ourselves unnecessarily on this installation, even if this trespass requires removal.

It would be ideal if your detachment ran the cover of local Hessian forces and Freelancers. My family has come to an understanding with the former, so them being around and in support of dismantling a foreign corporate station would not raise any alarms. Alternatively -- and with your blessing -- I could enlist the help of a third party. They may offer assistance, or at least heavily hinder the target's ability to maintain a profitable business in the region. They are Corsairs who allegedly disagree with the current leadership on Crete and have decided to return to their older traditions. They've got both capital assets and enough numbers to serve as the spearhead of this operation instead of our own. If this is the route we're taking, then your detachment must take on the cover of Freelancers and Independent Pirates.
