Group Profile: Kusari Office of Intelligence
Notable Personnel: Lord Commander Tazuka (Head of KOI), Ayakashi
Additional Notes:
They operate in a very straightforward fashion. Enemies of state receive little mercy and everyone else is at least somewhat suspicious.
Thanks to my clearances, I got to visit Nansei a couple of times. Strange feeling to know the base is basically a lit explosive with enough power to wipe out half a star system.
After one and a half years of intense discussions, I received far reaching access to Heaven's Gate and its libraries.
Heaven's Gate is a wonder. Not just the architecture but the actual depth the station reaches into the rock formation.
Heaven's Gate contains a larger library of knowledge than even New Tokyo's Imperial Library.
No matter how often I try, I am refused access to the Aonyobo Annex.
Ichigaya Drydocks will be the main place for Kishiro Drive installation, followed by secondary capabilities currently in the process of being built at Yukawa.
The Nomad powerline in Tohoku is scary. Upon request, I received a briefing. The results of violating the Artifact treaties, something all houses do anyway. Not sure how to feel about this.
The Lord Commander should change his title to "Lord Prick". Reserved, cold and definitely not a fan of seeing a woman possess power. Good thing he rarely comes to New Tokyo.
Judging from Ayakashi's words, the KOI has a strict hierarchy and makes significant differences in assignments for men and women. I probably read too much into this but seeing how Ayakashi acts, I have a suspicion what types of assignment they're being sent off to at times.
Intended long-term plan: Just staying out of their hair will be enough. Frequenting Heaven's Gate doesn't help that but they're starting to get used to it.
Far less like-minded people than one would anticipate. A wide variety of personal opinions, all linked by a common desire to protect Kusari and her people.
The Admiralty remains split on my position and my insistence to remain spacefaring.
I hold many fond memories of conversations with Naval personnel, quite a few of them retired or dead by now though.
I am technically part of the Tokubetsu Keisatsutai as an external asset. Codename: Tamamo no Mae
My objective as external asset is to gather and hand over intelligence data at my own discretion. Wonder what they'd do if they knew I am doing exactly that, but on them too?
Sending off our warriors to Gallia felt wrong. I had no real weight in the decision, I have marginally more when it comes to the Liberty crisis. Is one spineless attempt on my life worth sentencing anywhere from a few thousands to a few millions to death though? Hardly. Will we be left with a choice? Probably not.
Intended long-term plan: A healthy and strong Naval Forces remains a priority. Sending them off to avoidable wars is not. Keep pushing for militarization as deterrence.

Group Profile: Hogosha
Notable Personnel: Lady Black, Ryu Majima
Notable Families: Majima Family
Additional Notes:
Easily the most useful organization of Sirius. Not even kidding. Need anything? Reach out to them, somehow there's always one with the contacts you need. Steep prices but it is worth it.
They try to meddle into everything, everything. Including the Ninkyo Dantai into the parliament made my life much easier though. They don't try to mess up partner business even remotely as much as that of everyone else.
Their contacts within the Keiretsu proved to be incredibly helpful on multiple occasions and I fully intend to use them to figure out a solution to the Kishiro leaks.
Unsurprisingly, some of Kusari's best artists are affiliated to the Hogosha in some way. Half the Sunekosuri's artworks were acquired through these contacts.
The Kazama family, a very small Hogosha group hailing from rural Honshu managed the unbelievable: Great Master of the ukiyo-e art form, Kawase Shiota, declared himself ready to paint the Bessō Miyasu as seen from Awaji-shima's coastline.
Intended long-term plan: Keep them as close partners. All their meddling and greedy self-interests aside, they're my best bet on increasing my influence within Kusari unopposed and rapidly.

Group Profile: Golden C / Blood Dragons
Notable Personnel: All but remnants of history, all those I'd call worth mentioning have long retired, died or joined the Order
Additional Notes:
The Flowers still believe in the misguided and manipulated versions of the 'Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom' and have radicalized considerably in recent decades. Their dependency on the Outcasts keeps growing and their actions are little more than entertainment to the Outcasts at this point.
All ambitions shown by some Flowers during the Republic era to push for more moderate and realistic goals have been silenced.
The Blood Dragons became nearly indistinguishable from the Flowers in terms of aimless attacks on civilians. They lost their previous way, it comes as a surprise that the Order has not yet discarded them. Too valuable as eyes in Kusari, is my guess. Maybe the Order can make use of an alternative?
As of 836, the Dragons seem to be suffering from internal feuds.
Following the terrorist attack on a shrine, I am starting to worry that they're too far gone and will only understand the language of the blade. Abusing religious extremism infighting for their agenda is one thing, despicable as it may be, but slaughtering civilians and aiming for children has never been the Dragons way of operating.
Intended long-term plan: Weaken them through policies, through real change, slow as it may be. We do well and unlike with their path, there is no need to kill small children in order to achieve it.

Hmm.
Mesmerizing would put it lightly, I suppose. Not like this was the first visit, second one in fact. Staring into the literal abyss does wonders to clear my thoughts.
A shame I did not have time to do so properly this time. Rev inviting me on a risky journey without me having to annoy her was already weird enough, to see her actually hire escorts for safety even more so. One being Leviathan, no less.
Aiming straight at a black hole, deliberately, is just crazy. This feeling is.. I find no words. She wanted some weird samples. Rydberg Matter, as it turns out. Rev was clearly pissed that I wandered off with a decent amount of somewhat stable samples once we were out of the Omegas. Broke a promise in the end, managed to facilitate a Tensei University marked handover of the samples to Yokosuka. In times like these, I'd rather entrust it to Naval R&D than anyone else. I wonder what the hell she is planning, to go to such lengths to obtain a mere handful of samples.
