It's hard enough to balance the forces without one side getting a random extra capship show up...and, we're in the only region of space where that happens (all other capship spawns are restricted to planets).
Capships in Delta? Havn't seen any since the last mod release. But still, even if there are capships, relocate. Pick a new location or start with an overall new location. Keeping a system like Omicron Lost empty for two factions doing pew pew pew seems like a silly reason to me. That faction might be gone tomorrow or the events cancled, so to say. And it's not like they're Discovery changing, right?
Exile, I suggested a while back in regards to the BHG vs Order fights in lost that the planet there is full of alien ruins that the order is trying to study, which is why they're fighting off the BHG in that system.
My suggestion:
-Add a small order base, or an order battleship, in orbit over the planet.
-Add a small BHG base to the other side of the systems, perhaps behind the suns.
-Add a jump hole to Omega 56 near the BHG Base
-Add a jump hole to Omicron 92 near the Order Base
-Add a 'hidden' jump hole off in one of the corners that leads to Omicron Iota or 99

Then I don't see why some people want it to remain empty for BHG Order reasons. If there's already an RP background on it. But yeah. Maybe add a few bases, Nomad patrols, whatnot.
I'd be okay with adding jump holes, but only to other omicrons, and I don't think there should be bases in the system. Maybe one or two other jump holes max, we want this to be a mysterious "Lost" system that very few care about (or even know about).

well, the whole reason we chose lost for our scheduled battles is because there are no NPC's. NPC's, especially in the borderworlds, can have drastic effects on pvp battles. Out there, the NPC's are easily powerful enough to wipe out players left and right, especially when they're preoccupied fighting each other.
I would say if we're adding bases, the NPC patrol zones should be limited to the vicinity of the bases, that way players can still have their battles without npc interference.

I understand that, but fail to see the need. Most players get shot on a daily bases, hell, 9/10 of my chars are in the borderworlds but we still do events out in the open.
The idea of "reserving" a system for our weekly battles is silliness. We only chose it because it is:
a. empty of NPC's
b. has aline ruins
c. empty of NPC's
d. remote enough to avoid having "uninviuted guests" enter our event
e. empty of NPC's
Anything to give more breathing space out in these systems is fine by me...but when it is quiet on the server the NPC's can be just plain ridiculous.
