Tres' Droll!

I still have Admiral Benedict Arnaud, le GRN defecteur, aboard the St.Germain.

He feels rather offended that no one cares enough to retrieve him for a Tribunal.

He feels rather out-of-place on Grenoble, so I have taken pity on him and made him 2nd scullery mate.

..which is the worst punishment?

I suppose what I am saying is that you haven't "finished" the last such event, yet wish another strikingly similar encounter. And yes, might I suggest more communication from "both" sides to remove this odiferous taint of "ze powergame!"

Can I please ask you - all of you, to cease speaking in fragmented french if you do not know the language? just... please. I know you people try to be irp but sometime it's really despairing for my peers.

Beside... admiral who? defected you say? interesting. You'll notice most of the council officers are... just that. Defectors...

If there was a chance that the Brigands might be able to get their hands on the Princess, the Council would immediately get involved.

It's the bloody Princess after all. We would even blow the transport up if we couldn't get to interrogate her.

So perhaps something not involving such an important character?

Erm. I'm not too comfortable with that anyhow. I am extremely careful with the princess character. Never pick a fight I can't win.

Anything involving more than 3 bombers make me itch, no matter the number of escort I have. But anyway.

Come on Yui Fei this would be a great event :ylove:, to make you itch less! the first battle could be fighters only. then of course the 2nd battle which is Key would be all Caps then its balanced.
and the Winner of the Rescue attempt Cap battle whether we trying to rescue a hostage you guys took in winning the First battle or vice versa would get that ransom $$$$$ Kerching

Non. You have royalty, we sack base. That's how it works.
Like I said, pick some random NPC guy. For example some executive of EFL.

The Royalists would most likely trample over every asteroid field and search through all the Nebula they could in Gallia, simply to find the base that has the Princess on it, if you managed to take her from her Battleship that is.

The Brigands would essentially be taking the big bullys favourite toy and demanding something for it.
Considering that the Princess herself would most likely prefer to crush the Brigands and be killed than be ransomed (Apologies if not Yue, just seems to fit).

Overall, Princess is just TOO important for a pirate group to take without massive issues.

Or just about any member of the royal family for that matter.

We would only keep her while shes in her ship, not take her to some base I think your RP mind is going loopy loo now This is justa RP event not a discussion of on what would actually happen if in RL this did occur as seems to be the point your making. So Simple RP Event try to kidnap the princess if we fail you take one of our own and we pay your ransom every one can be a winner. Unless you try to complicate things with useless What ifs! coz well at the moment Gallia is Pretty dead and im tryin to liven things if you dont like the idea of Brigands running the Show then by all means Council lead it all the same to me if we win I have won I dont care this is about Rp and working together.
So are we gonna do it or not coz im all game, please without further its not plausable Blah Blah Talk as to whether something like this would happen....
a Simple Yes or No will do! the specifics of the event can always be changed the Hostage does NOT always have to be a Royal!!!!!!!!

I vote Yes for an Event of this type!
