All it requires is for you to initiate at least one word of RP with them or fire a CD at them (if a pirate), and then they are engaged in player interaction and have to RP their way out of the situation or be in violation of the F1 rule.

if they're smart they have multiple account keys so that they dont have this problem, but idk how smart the average metagamer is.

Admins always have ways of finding you.

And once again, let's not start throwing the word meta-game around willy-nilly. The Definition of Meta-game is to use information you know, but your character should not to your advantage. Examples of this are seeing a smuggler leave Malta on your OC, then swapping to your LN and waiting for him to return to Liberty. Code-Camping is more OORP than Meta-gaming.

Also, to anyone planning to shoot code-campers according to the new rules, please remember that the Engagement rules still apply. This means your attacks must be preceded by Roleplay, and you can only fire upon them if your ID permits it. For example, an LPI officer could not shoot a code-camper unless he was carrying contraband and refused to drop it. Codenames are not contraband.
Just because they are carrying a code-name, does not mean they are fair game for anyone and everyone.

I HATE LAWYERS!!! People that use, manipulate the rules have no decency or honor. RP is such a big part of this mod, yet this vile, cowardly practice is allowed?

I'm still building my charachters. But now I have a new goal. I will camp the various wreck sites in the Sigmas, Taus and Omegas at server reset. I will DESRTOY every pathetic rule bending SUB-SCUM that take the fun out of the game.

You speak like toddlers trying to justify your bad behavior while playing. Fine. Daddy will take away your toys.

I fail to see how it is an Exploit. Are we going to sanction every single trader that has logged in space than recontinues their route from wherever they may have been? I don't see it as an exploit, anything sanctionable, or any of the above. Nor is it metagaming.

Before anyone asks, no I'm not a wreck salvager, I've salvaged one in my life and that was for Skyblast B's or something of the sort.
