If you bring this thing to lock with flames i'm not opening a single thing. I see people agreeing with us, and I see people having objections. More constructive criticism is good, more sarcastic and optimistic arguments for OPG are also highly valued.
People keep forgetting that Gamma isn't our home. Omega 5 is.
Darkpearl, how about you join, say TBH, earn respect with your nice skills, become an elder and such? Then maybe OPG will listen to what you want to say.
I mean you do not stand for anything, you work for CR, shoot casts, then you switch to your cast and shoot CR, then you switch to your sair and shoot BH, then you switch to BH and farm sairs
All I see here is you being upset about one meaningless blue message. How about you just delete your OC and BH chars, problem solved :)
I dont see your point there really. I already said the blue message wasnt important. It is the principle of fair-play which I wanted to point out.
I wont comment the rest, since it all doesnt make much sense. Being still on one side of the barricade will get you the "they are aliens, they dont deserve fairness" syndrome soon.
Stop trying to troll here, thanks.

If you have a problem, take your trading elsewhere.
We are taking the cargo now, and that's even more profitable for us.
and from number of traders passing there still, i'ld say that either they're crazy, or they still make a profit.
let me get something straight. I cannot root the powertrader syndrome out, or lets call it a "i just want to trade dont touch me can't we all be friends if not i'll send my CAPSHIP at you" syndrome. But i can sure reduce it. and if it makes million people cry, and few people smile. I'll be happy.
I have never seen someone making 30mil/hour. Maybe because Im not smuggling, should start with it soon I think.
I make about 20 on one run. Probably less. My run goes trough Omegas a bit, but I always been lucky to escape so far :P (aw damn, now they will be after me D:)
Anyway, I agree that powertraders are bad. I personally tax depending on their responses to RP. When they are tards, I tax them more. Traders with good RP sometimes dont get taxed at all. So far I have seen your members going "Halt/Stop/ (insert any similar command here" and "You are being robbed, hand over 3 millions or be shot" after a few seconds.

The indies witch joined Corsairs, they may say " I am pirate ", and actualy they don't know about it anything, they are just making missions and waiting for red targets in scanners..
As we are OMEGA PIRATES Guild, you won't gonna see us asking you " Can you give me two millions or I will destroy your ship? ". We will rob you hard, if I said 2 millions and you are asking to make it 1.5m, I will take 3 then, and I feel that we are only faction, witch do like this, maybe someone don't like it. But it makes us different from other pirates!
I took additional 100 nanos, you think if I won't take them next time, it will change something? It won't change anything! Just you will kill sleeping Karolis and you will get your blue massage.

Will positive feedback go towards opening a feedback thread too? Because I've had both good and bad experiences with the OPG - and that's on my Benitez and my Buccaneer.
Benitez experiences: I've flown with the OPG to beat up marauding invaders that for some reason think they can hold a tea-party in Gamma. Likewise I've also flown with you on raids into enemy territory. You guys make good wingmates even if it's just because there's so many of you that you're near enough impossible to wipe out. From the Corsair viewpoint, I've also noticed a big cut-back on your gunboat use which you have to admit was pretty high last version. There's been a nice rise in bomber and Titan pilots, as well as Pirate Transports, which I think is great.
Negative experiences have mostly been around newer members (Rats?) and have involved lines of unmarked OORP in system chat. I forget the names, but it does happen (not that it's a rare occurrence in Gamma:dry:). I don't suppose there's a lot that you can do about that with no names, but I just thought I'd point that out. Maybe reinforcing faction guidelines in all the new recruits, or making new people pass an exam on your code of conduct, or whatever, before they make a ship? As for the Omega 5 being your home, well, the suspiciously high number of OPG ships in Gamma doesn't always reflect that sentiment.
Buccaneer experiences: Well, relations with the OPG on my Buccaneer have mostly been fun; at the moments seem to be on a knife's edge - they could either deteriorate into a bloody turf war, or hold steady at a uneasy truce. Other classy moments have been pirating your transports, two so far I think. One of them being yourself? Good RP there, with banter and threats exchanged. We've also had encounters with you in piracy hotspots, such as trying to make you 'pay your dues'. I don't think that ended too well for us either time.
Negative experiences... Well, one incident sticks out in my mind. Myself and the Cap't were returning to Trafalgar when the gunboat Greenhawk undocks from the station. We were both outside, and were considering pirating him, but he beat us to the line, demanding three million from us (I can't remember whether it was each or all-together, but that doesn't matter - pirating pirates is good RP). I'm fine with this, but it was the fact that immediately after this he opened fire on me, destroying my ship before I had the chance to move. Two qualms about this. Well, three actually.
1) If you pirate someone, at least give them the opportunity to pay the fee before opening fire. Given the fact that he dropped my shields and hit me with a razor, basically instakilling me, before I'd had a chance to show any hint of non-compliance, or even speak the event leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
2) The fact that he killed me as I was stationary, while typing didn't help things.
3) We were quite literally 100m from Trafalgar. I would have thought discretion was the better part of <strike>valour</strike> stupidity when firing capital class weapons outside the only base you have inside Bretonian borders.

This thread is useless imo.
Most indies are indeed just WRONG.
Taking more money from traders isnt always the best way inRP. Dont you have your trader to make money? I personally dont see piracy as a way to make money, but to RP with the trader. I can RP with a trader for half an hour and I wont care if a dozen of powertraders escapes me meanwhile.
This blue message is another argument overused a lot. Keep in mind that bounty hunter's income is based on blue messages and killing. Same with any other mercenary or freelancer. Though some people use it to abuse PvP, which is also wrong.
As I said multiple times, the blue message doesnt bother me. No offense, but to me it seems otherwise. You didnt want to die so you could be able to get a blue message yourself.
Next time, do it Jarek style. "I can die, its a game"
Your negative impressions are negative indeed. Next time, please take a screenshot and report it to the junker congress, maybe even admins although i don't think it would issue anything more than a warning because no solid proof can be obtained from the screenshots.
I'm sad that there are negative experiences involving Rats but they are Rats for a reason. They are there to learn and they are there to make mistakes. I am sure that anyone that sees the title Rat can figure out that's going on and not make a judgement about entire faction based on that.
Our ships are lately in gamma because everyone and their dog wants to get in gamma and have some fun with good ol' corsairs.
did you know that zoners pass trough gamma every day for at least 500 times (combined together)
Yes, that notorious deut route passes right trough the gamma to kappa and so they visit our glorious system not bringing food and still have nerve to complain about it.
We're no angels. It happens that rules are broken too. It's about aftermath of those situations and how do we handle them in person. Warn the player next time, try to tech him and take those bloody screenshots. Please:)
Any more? Because so far, it is nothing that we're not aware of. Also I see alot of people reading this topic but none posting. I am sure that flame topic would be more acceptable, but that's just not happening in this part of the forum.

Im glad this didnt turn into a flamefest. It wasnt what I was aiming for. If you would have feedback thread, it would go straight there.
If you want more... well
In last few days I had mostly bad experiences. Most of the time in Omega 3, which is NOT your home, yet I have seen a few gankparties there. Your members were telling me usually something in the lines of "they were asking for it" etc etc.
Then when I engaged against 5 fighters/bombers with only one wingmate along, I expected you all to engage. But, when we brought reinforcements to even the odds up for us, you started bringing more and more. Some of them were indies so I understand they might have been difficult to call off, but some of them were your members.
Also, your hanging around Leeds wasnt very cool, since you are OMEGA pirates guild after all. But seems you have already relocated so its fine.
Another objection would be that some of your members start shooting at people sitting off a fight. I mean, what the hell? I was sitting off a fight on my BAF to give you fair odds, watching it from safe distance, and then an OPG comes with "Coming in hot" or whatever engagement notice, but instead of joining the fight, he tries to shoot me, while I sit at one place. Im not alone who experienced this.
I heard some complaints about you from other people aswell. If they dont like to voice their opinion, its their decision.
If you're pirating to make a profit, you're doing it wrong, so it's no wonder people have had negative experiences.
That said, I've only ever once encountered the OPG when on my own (when in a group, they've slunk away), since I don't use the Omegas much. I had a single fighter with mediocre equipment. I was threatened by a gunboat and a fighter, with two more fighters not far off. And they demanded a million off me. Know how much money I had spread across all my characters at the time? 4 million, with my other ships being a Camara and a Guardian.
so, one manta come to hearth of OPG, fight against bomber, and is crying that train is feeding that bomber with bots?
OPG, next time undock all missile gunboats against him, then he can have good reason to complain...
and you mr. hunter. when you looked on fair fight, type them before you are in scanner range, that you will fair fight... but thats pure pvp thing
and when you will make money trough bounty, well. what you wait, that they will only look how you are killing one of them?...
think about it....
