is there any way to make FL companion not work? frankly it seems like most powertraders are using that. i know that may not go over well but it seems like thats what its coming to.

Great ideas, but what about people setting up Order characters?
They'd get blown to dust by this.
Or the admins could be bothered to get the restart plugin on the server, and the order template, so you can just be moved to Toledo with the correct Order rep (not OG).
Anyway, the NPC faction thing shouldn't be here, that does in mod discussion, and would have to be put in 4.86.
EDIT: No, there is no way to stop that working, and it also ruins a lot of decent trader's routes aswell, not just the powertraders, and that would not get very good. . . Results from the community.

I think Oddball was onto something. LSF / LN should hire mercs. Liberty (re) announces standing order "All unauthorized vessels in Zone 21 are subject to immediate termination." 'Deputize' mercs and perhaps some bored vigalanties. I'm pretty sure there are enough bored pvp whores willing to sit at the minefield exit. 1 to 2 mil per screenshot kill. AND, the lowlife mercs could take bribes from the traders, then have bounties put on them.

Sound like a mess yet? Yeah! Just like real life, situational anarchy. Better than tweaking game files or MORE rules.

So every time lolwutters find a new lazy way to PvP/get ahead we're gonna nerf things, make ID changes, restrict ship class of certain factions to a corner in space, and put giant weapon platforms in front of gates?

While it may make sense to "lock" that jumpgate I hope it doesn't devolve into more ID nerfs against traders, or something like that.

Cause we all know for the most part BHG caps were sentenced to the Lonlicrons because half the forum whined on account of all the lolcaps (can't really blame them somewhat) popping up in front Yanagi.

just put a big line of weapons platforms with CD's and big weapons that can kill transports easily. that way none of them would get through. Oh, and you can only get through with the Navy, LSF, Order, Nomad Rep.

put 2 STATIONARY Osiris on the Minor JH and the Eles JH (what was that JH call?)

then put 2 Stationary Liberty Dreadnought at NY JG..

i would say use FLHook powah.

who ever without the proper ID will blown up within 10 seconds if he remains in that system.

Hm.... if that needs to stop...

Look at Vespucci, there is a big badass Dread stationed right next to the Jumphole.
As far as I read it, the Hunters are getting one too at the O-15 jumphole in O-56.

And not to mention the Gallic gates....
... every tried to use one of those gates as a trader when you are hostile to the GRN? There is a reason why all the traders there are whoring the jumpholes, because the Gates are suicide.

So yea, station a Liberty Guard Dreadnought on both sides of the Alaska Gate and give the Dreads CD's.
No trader will survive that, seen as there are on the NY side also weapon platforms (may need a buff).

As for the argument about new players trying to get to Omicron Minor...well, I think it's time we shut down that route. Let the new players go around. You can't make everyone happy and shutting down the Alaska route has the best RP explanation.
