As I said before the bounty did not come from the Congress. Not that we don't take interest in what our members do however. As such the bounty is coming down. We do have some things to discuss I believe, but this is not the way I prefer to deal with our problems.
I am en rote to Freeport 1 aboard the Crow's Nest and should arrive within a day. I'm sure the Chief Arbiter Bishop will be near by as well. We can discuss the rest in depth later.
I really do have more important things to be doing that involve mass consumption in the back of a Junker Bar.

"Enough, all of you. Corsairs, I got somethin to say, and you'd better all listen real close now - We junkers haul for whoever pays the most. If you want us to stop hauling for everyone else and start acting like your personal workforce, then fork up the damn credits! It's been like this for longer than anyone, on either side of this argument, can remember. If you dont like it, we'll stop supplying you, simple as that. We're already cutting off your little hogosha dogs in the sigmas and taking those artifacts for ourselves, so the way I see it... you boys aint got much choice but to deal with us."
"There used to be a mutual understanding here. The 'sairs left us alone, same way everyone else left us alone, and in return we supplied your pathetic little wars and smuggled your shinies into house space for you. Now, in the past months 'ere... this situation's changed. You little rats constantly attack Junker ships, regardless of the cargo being carried. You've even tried to pirate our ships that are hauling crap to your stations and planets. That seem right to you? Didnt think so."
"Tell your boys to quit buggin Junker ships, and you wont have to deal with bounties... or lack of food, for that matter. Now personally, I dont find starvin people all that attractive, but if you want to eat each other because you cant calm yerselves down enough to deal with levelminded men like myself, so be it."
"Simple terms, 'sairs. Stop attacking us, stop demanding our cargo and credits, regardless of who they're purchased from or where they're bound for, and we'll gladly work for you just like we used to. You may think us simple scrap mongering pushovers, but I guarantee you that we're not a force to take lightly, and you do not want to piss us off."
Sir, you can stop supplying us right now. We dont need you. I have had just about enough of your threats. I hope you can deal with the Corsairs putting their entire military weight behind the Hogosha and Farmers Alliance, to help expand their war against you. In addition, we will begin supplying the Gaians of Bretonia ourselves, in return for them distributing our Artifacts in Bretonia. We will be in contact with our former allies in the Unioners movement about restarting artifact shipments to them. Also interestingly enough, the Rogues have been making inquiries into purchasing Artifacts to distribute in Liberty. Along with that, I will be telling my men to set a standard rate of 5 million credits for any Junker ship passing in front of a Corsair anywhere in Sirius. Any Junker carrying a cargo we deem to be for our enemies or from our enemies will be forcefully taken from them.
Thorne, if you wish to start a war, I think you will find yourself severely outmatched.

"Good luck with that, "senior" sephardi. In all my years, I havent seen a single Corsair with an ounce of savvy for smugglin. You boys may shoot well, but you dont have the finesse or skill it takes to do our job, and neither do any of those groups you mentioned."
"If you're going to make a threat, at least try and but some substance behind it. You insult the whole of Junker society by acting like we're stupid."

"I speak only for myself and the Junkers under my command, the Congress and other Junker groups know that. It is up to them to decide how they will resolve this situation... either squeal like pigs and conform to your demands, or put up a resistance like any real man should. I'm tired of you 'Sairs thinking you own us, and I'll be damned if I let you push any Junker around. We do not work for you, and you're going to hurt without our help... so it's only your own grave that you're digging with these constant threats against the Junker nation."

Salutations;
You will pardon my late arrival to this topic of discussion. I will be brief.
Regarding system claims: We respect such statements. It is your empire. As such, it is your area of expertise.
Regarding transport of Blood Diamonds: They are a high-risk commodity with an immediately traceable source of purchase whether that be direct or second-hand. Getting caught with them one should accept the terms of his bad luck or poor judgement. The Congressman acted independently and rashly. He has as of late grown frustrated at the subtleties of our means, and clearly wishes he joined in with a greater cartel with the military might and spare resources to back impulsive actions. Again, your area of expertise.
Regarding the bounty: If I am correct, all is clear. With luck and good discipline it will not happen again.
Regarding insults to our organization, our people, our bases:Keep that down. We can all trumpet our riches, our military might, our standings, our connections. The extent of yours is not up for debate. Our own connections and reach are limited, or at least that's the impression we like to cultivate. Let's all just keep assuming that and continue on. We'll all be happier that way.
To Junker Thorn: This is a Congress matter. I welcome the input of Junkers outside this organization so long as it is useful or entertaining. Yours is neither. Shut up.

"Bishop, this is a Junker matter, not a congress matter. Your organization isnt the sole voice of the Junker people. Take some queues from your predecessor, at least Tinkerbell knew his boundaries. The Congress is, and always has been, a tiny portion of Junker society, and despite your arbiters and other political figureheads, not all of us answer to you."
"Perhaps when I see the congress out here dealing with the problem firsthand, then I'll respect your commands... until then, it's the real junkers having to live with getting shot at every day by these mangy pirates, and we'll find ways to resolve the situation ourselves."
Right, someone with common sense. Greatly appreciated. You should be toning down the voices of people that cause Shepardi to make such rash but valid statements. To backpedal once more to the main statement, Blood Diamonds were, are and will be contraband in our space for as long as I breathe. They represent things we fight against and if someone feels we should apologize for protecting our interests then they need a hit or two in the skull.
As for us not knowing how to smuggle, I'll just attach one streaming photo for you disbelievers.
Now. Not long after that Rochester welcomed us and offered us some refreshment for our escorts. Wait, what's that? no escorts? Exactly. We are fearless, and we can outnumber any solo junker flying any waters. So keep that in mind before your statements begin to drown entire "neutrality" we have here. I'll consider this matter concluded with Congress, since no other junkers smuggle around Blood Diamonds anyway. As for this man hiding behind alias Christopher Thorn, we'll be keeping an close eye on you and your .. views.

Thorn;
Your unexpected and uninvited rebuttal to a statement not addressed to you does not make you authorized or welcome to continue to participate. You and other Junkers being struck by the OPG is a matter that does not combine with this one. What happened here, the Congressman took a foolish risk and got caught. Your opinions, whether they have weight or not, have no place in this topic of discussion.
That matter will be broached when someone is actually willing to bring it to my attention, aside from jumping in when grownups are speaking.
Regarding Tinkerbell's running of the Congress compared to mine; go ahead and find him. Tell him I'm running his illegitimate brain child into the ground. Maybe he'll take it back and leave me free to pursue my own ends. Until that happens, someone must do what I do. And as far as I'm aware I'm damned good at it.
