It's ok I won't be one to spam you pm box for recruitment, I got my slice of pie in the Sigmas ;). Have any of you guys been out in the past? I ask because I once came across a Wilde ID'd char with a Japanese name on it. It was a memorable encounter as the pilot was good and well practiced at taking down a transport thrustering away. It still rings out in my mind as the only time anyone took out my CT solo. Anyways I wish your group luck and I hope that your arrival will not only get the Kusari lawful factions active again but also GMG|'s paramilitary as well. Sigmas, as many of you know, no longer has traders as targets for unlawfuls anymore but it has the smuglers and I'm sure they are just as fair game. All in all the chaos would awaken our martial forces no doubt. :)

Heh, I've met you guys once, you guys are really good at RP... and I'm a slow typer:P

I would love to try to get into your limited faction, but I see that recruitment is in-game.

I'll (hopefully) see you in space!

First, thank you (I was that Katana that killed you:P).

And yeah, we've been out in the past - but that was mainly because of some little...confusion regarding whether the Iseijin will be a faction of their own or attached to the Wilde or Keepers.

Also, something I'd like to mention is that I really feel good about all the recruitment-related PMs I (as well as Exile and Zapp) have been receiving since we posted this faction proposal - it's really great that so many people are interested in this faction. We're looking forward to meeting your characters ingame as soon as we get official status:).

There's one suggestion I'd like to make regarding the faction setup...

If you're trying to be stealthy and infiltrative-like, opposite to the quite hostile wilde and keeper RP, why use wilde or nomad tags?

My suggestion would be that each player, once recruited, is given a tag based on their position within a current faction/affiliation. For example, if you infest a KNF character, they keep a KNF IFF (Tag), or if you infest a blood dragon character, they keep a blood dragon tag - but the ID would be a wilde or custom ID once added, and the players would be given friendly rep towards nomads so they can dock on the arch.

This way, the Aoi Iseijin arent immediately recognized at a distance - other players would at least have to examine the ID through a cargo scan, and it also allows you to trick people a little more easily into believing you're not infested.

I always thought that was how the wilde should operate, but they chose a different path - you guys have the option of doing this properly.

If that method is used, then your members would also be able to dock at properly allied bases. Taking the example above, the KNF player that got infested would still be able to dock at any lawful base in Kusari. If you're trying to be stealthy and infiltrate the government, why restrict yourself from docking at bases that you would use if you werent infested?

Really, the only people who can detect whether or not you're a nomad are the Order and to a far lesser extent the Zoners, as long as you dont do something that's a dead giveaway. Of course, the players who want to keep docking at the normal bases would have to refrain from using nomad weaponry and such, but that's the only complication I can see.

The tag has been discussed. At first the possibility of no tag was brought up, but was quickly shot down as having an NPC affiliation (tag) is required for all factions. Your idea was considered, but rejected... we need a unifying tag, especially given a unifying ID. Our main hope is to eventually get an Iseijin NPC faction and our own ID. It won't scream Nomad right away like the Wild ID to people who aren't already familiar with us.

Yea, but the problem is people will metagame, they always do. You'll end up getting shot at just as quickly as people shoot at the wilde and keepers.

There'll be people metagaming no matter what ID or tag is used. Sometimes that will be frustrating, but there will also be those that play along, and those who, when hunting Iseijin, discover themselves within a trap.

Metagamers? Easy. They shoot us, we shoot them. We win. (Doh)
Rpers? Easy. They RP, we RP.

It's all up to the opposite side as to how we act and do. And, like Ayem said, meta's will always be there. But like I said when we discussed the tag issue amongst the iseijin, 'I'm not going to adapt myself to metagaming fools, rather to the roleplaying good people'.

This has already gone through gathering opinions and to the creation request, whilst AGS is stuck in the water...

But i'm not here to talk about that.

I'm here to congratulate you on making this faction. It definately has the role-play and members to be a brilliant faction.

I'm even interested in making a character and waiting for you to find and infest me, I need some more activity in Kusari.

Good job, and good luck.

Edit: My 1,500th post!! :yahoo:

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

This is a very interesting and great looking faction. Even has my /approve and that's not something I give out easily. It actually makes me want to make a character for it, but I'm lazy.
