Best combat freighter?

If you need a lawful freighter, The Grizzly, Ragnar or Clystadale are your best options.
Especially the Grizzly is great, since it has a huge amount of bots and bats.

Correro with out a shaddow of a doubt, especially when coupled with corsair pulse weapons. As far as freighters go its quite agile, it has an insanely small profile and has 8 foreward firing weapons, when given even just a couple of tizonas it can turn even a moderately skilled bomber to a paste.

I did in my Bactrian & it didn't stand a chance. I am very comfortable fighting in a freighter & quite happily prey on transports.

I love my cap 5 police grizzly. It really does have so many regens and a good core, but that's kind of useless against instakill:(

I don't use it for combat exclusively, it's actually an RP recon ship with enough firepower to defend itself... I haven't flown it in a while though, Liberty is too hot during the hours I play...

I did kill a broadsword once, though.

and pity it can only mount a class 6 shield, is that the same for all freighters?

there are high Level Class 6 Shields that guard far more than any fighter shielding
