Another reason why I'm trying to make the Kempeitai, despite people saying it should be included in the KNF.

If it does, no offence to the knf, there is a strong chance it might turn out like the current KNF.

Umm...corsairs are neutral to Kusari the same way as outcasts are neutral to Bretonia.

And yes, thee [KNF] should start some heavy recruiting -and- training. I haven't seen a single training of KNF. Except some of my personal ones...

I'll go be dauntless and point out a few things,

A) 'Circle of evil' Hogosha, Corsairs, Farmers alliance and KNF etc, all allied to eachother in a giant circle jerk, not for rp (though you can scream at me that it is you want), but simply for manpower or the whims of certain people, none of these should be allied to KNF. I hear some pretty disturbing things, Hogosha's arent criminals, farmers are just politicians? Hogosha are Yakuza, at least that is what I think, Farmers strike me as racists, and wouldnt be polticians, but lobbyists like the Gaians. You shouldn't be allied to the local law enforcement unless said law enforcement are corrupt, might have more fun if you shoot eachother a bit. I've been told by people that Corsairs are allied to Kusari because Outcasts are sorta allied to Bretonia? Thats total tripe, Outcasts are neutral, and shot at when they act retarded, Corsairs are splintered and having them in Honshu blasting KNF while trying to loot something doesnt strike me as OORP, but hey, I've seen entire fleets of corsairs in New Tokyo in group with [KNF] to shoot some GC.

B) "omg its so complex, you dont get it" total tripe, it's not overly complex, I personally think players MADE it complex, similiar things happened to Mollys in Bretonia for a while, probably from Unselie or whoever deciding it was more fun to be allied to mollys as BAF, bad idea! very bad idea, mollys died off from boredom, and we scraped it because we can see a mistake.

C) players, lack of players, sure! but the players which I'm focusing on are those that rott the place with whining, powerplaying their alts to win arguements, allying with their other factions. Junkers tried to do something in Kusari as is their RP, and it got shot down, now I'm sure the junkers were fairly blunt about it and didnt ask nicely, but so what? You can react to whatever is thrown at you better than that, getting invaded by junkers I'm sure sucks, but just kill them.

Aside from this I dont mind it much, it has the best house trade and is thus quite busy in traders, the lawfuls are lacking due to many of the above reasons and ones mentioned in this thread, I sometimes pirate on my QCP, as do others, my NovaPG just doesnt do anything really, I think the lawfuls think the blood dragon is too powerful or something so they log out. I have a junker which I cargo pirate in sigma 13 with and take cargo to Kyoto (usually npc piracy), but it's always when the server is low so I dont really see many people.

Hi, my name is Markam and I'm here to be flamed.

I've been trying to figure why there's not many people in kusari and I think i've found out why.

No pirates other than the Blood Dragons and GC have much of an interest there. Sure you get the odd Outcast and Corsair popping into Kyushu and Honshu now and again but thats it. Activity spawns activity.

Instead of these Kusari factions consisting of three or four people developing new wings and attractions to get people to join, they need to keep it simple. Condense the faction a bit more into a simple raiding party if need be. Then once they have the numbers they can start elaborating.

Take the BAF, a perfect example. For ages they were restricted to one single faction and one single role. Their numbers boomed, and now they have their own intelligence agency as well as some of the BAf characters spilling into the BPA.

That pretty much sums up my feelings towards Kusari. Well put.

Don't rag on Kusari Quasi-lawful groups. No, Hogosha are not, and hopefully, never will be just another group of outright lawless pirates and smugglers. That theme is overdone, and the BDS does a great job with their RP.

And no, the Farmer's Alliance are not, and hopefully, never will be just a Kusari version of the LWB (the LWB do a good job, but much of what they fight for is Rheinland-specific). The AFA do a great job with their work.

The only reason I don't go into Kusari anymore is because of Watsas.

Otherwise, I stay in Bretonia and Border-Worlds/Edge-worlds.

Nobody is allied to nobody. Except maybe FA to Hogosha or Hogosha to Corsair. But there are rules to these relationships. Paramount is that Corsairs do not trespass into Kusari proper. The south cloud of Honshu is up in the air, but under no circumstances are Corsairs allowed into New Tokyo without being invited first.

And about the quasi-lawfuls, there are rules to that to. I implore you to create an indy FA character and go pirate some traders in front of the KNF or KSP. Yes, they aren't hostile towards one another, and are quite close being as the AFA has helped the KNF in battles, but under no circumstances are they allowed to do anything unlawful in front of or in site of KNF or KSP.

It's hard not to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about when you keep saying that "you've "been told by people." Yes, it's different than the other houses, and that makes it a bit more complex. However, I have tried to outline the basics here so that we can all be a bit more informed.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
