Most "powerful" house (within RP)

Voted for Rheinland as strongest house.

For some reason their military strength, technology and tactics seem so much better then the other houses. Kusari is fighting with spirit, Bretonia with turtle ships, Gallia is French pretty self explaining and Liberty fights based on their economics. Combined Hispania, wouldn't have a clue how that'll go, luckily their to busy killing each other anyway.

I agree.

Rheinland Military is the most organised military force out of all houses. Their tatics are confrontational and thorough. Liberty is currently holding them back just because they have the $$$ to spam ships.

Some things to consider (mostly against liberty):

Technically, any house could go against 2 houses and win - but when you say that, they would probably be so weak they wouldn't be able to support themselves.

Kusari/Rheinland lead the industry for Engine Components - of course, Liberty/bretonia could produce it themselves, though for a far higher price... (Then again, Liberty are the ones who make superconductors... which are apparently needed for engine comps in the first place...)

Comparing to other houses, Liberty ships appear to be quite expensive...

Liberty has the most systems to consider... and I believe they are also the most hated? (by pirates, unlawfuls, etc)

Not really sure why you people assume Rheinland is the strongest. They got crushed by a gas mining corporation, and they were brought to the point where they didn't even have spare parts to maintain their fleet. It's all in the game, I didn't make it up. Rheinland may be strict and organized, but they're certainly not more powerful. They can't pay their pilots for crying out loud, that's why they're using this whole God-Chancellor cult, it's the only thing that keeps them from collapsing.

As for Gallia - they could take out one house if it were Bretonia or Kusari. Two houses at once - and they're toast. Get into Rheinland or Liberty - and they're hosed.

Remember, too, that what we as players see is only a micro-cosm of Sirius and Gallia as a whole. To our individual persona online, we're the biggest, baddest, and meanest thing out there. But since we're so far removed now from the original single player campaign game - which was again set up as a game - it's difficult, if not impossible, to base and decisions about the universe on that.

The only problem we had were the low numbers after the Big 80. Look at today: our fleet is growing, we have skilled pilots and new technologies are coming up.

If a house can endanger Rheinland, it have to be the Hispania Combined Forces or Gallia.

Maybe you should do a little reading before spouting false information. Ask the devs, Rheinland is the one that started the aggressions, not Liberty. 'Look at today', we're talking about canon RP here. Rheinland is indeed a war-factory at the moment, however if you read up, you'd see why they can't match Liberty. I know you're biased towards Rheinland, perhaps you think that I'm biased towards Liberty - but the thing is, I do my homework before posting here.

Is there any real point in this thread? It's turned immediately into a popularity contest where people haven't done their homework before posting. Though I must say that claiming that Rheinland is the strongest House is particularly nonsensical, since they lost a war to the GMG, and either before or after the Nomad war (can't remember which) the only battleship they had in commission was the Westfalen (I think) and its fusion reactors and engines were broken.

ETA: and, if any one of the Houses was able to deploy its full fleet to Malta or Crete, it would squash the Hispanic House opposing it. Due to sheer weight of numbers, if nothing else - the Hispanic Houses are both rather less populated than the central ones, yes?
