See that makes total sense to me, Jinx. generic would indicate form following function. Ugly...sure, but able to be maintained, and purchased more readily... expense and locations.. makes sense.

Or at least restrict the civilian line to these IDs:
Civilian, Freelancer, Researcher, Mercenary, Corporations (that don't have their own ship line), Independent trader, Miner, Pirate, Smuggler, Recruit, Slaver, Vigilante.

Why? Because OCs and Sairs using Eagle and Roc is just not right.

I don't really see any reason why not to put the old Conference back in the game.
That was even discussed as an option back when the new model was made.

cause the old conference is still the conference. - if the old conference was used, it d look like the 3rd gunboat based on zoner designs - and thats not really what we want.

this generic GB should not resemble any ship that can be "claimed" by any faction.
