***incoming transmission***
Sender: Lieutenant Henry Matthews, America Base, Vespucci
Target: All NTF vessels
Subject: Another Liberty incursion

This isn't the incident with a carrier and an LSF wing, but a Liberty Navy wing. I arrived at Junction to find Commodore Ryder, Captain Crompton and Lieutenant Commander Wyard there, with two members of the Navy's primary fleet just a few clicks out. A third was flitting back and forth on and off the scope. At some point, a gunboat also arrived, along with another Guardian, a light fighter (I think) of some sort and an Eagle piloted by a freelancer. I cannot recall when exactly each arrived. Then another Guardian, piloted by one Sarah Willows, came, and immediately - without saying anything else - gave the order to open fire. Two Hackers came to assist. Our own forces had their ships disabled or shot down.

I started to move out of the field, taking the apparent distraction provided by the arrival of a rogue gunboat as an opportunity, and three fighters followed me. The last Hacker was shot down, and I, not seeing any viable alternative, unless I were to risk compromising Mactan, started for the Tuttle Creek Cloud. The other four Navy vessels caught up. As I was about three quarters of the way there - flying on burners and taking shots at the Naval Ensign who kept getting ahead - I was contacted by Major Shia of the Legion, who arrived to help. Another of the Legion - a Rethena, I think - arrived not long after. Rethena had his vessel disabled fighting the freelance Eagle. The Major and I took down two of the primary fleet's ships. Executive Commander Rossini arrived. Willows' fighter was left with twenty-two nanobots, and another Guardian - Kayvesk, perhaps, though I can check the logs later - was critically damaged. I think the freelancer's Eagle was also in a bad state. The Executive Commander ordered that we retreat.

Subsequently, a Temporary Autonomous Zoner observing remarked that the Navy tends to lie. Willows yelled that the Zoner had earned an execution, and seemingly fired on the Zoner's vessel. The Zoner returned fire, and Willows insisted that it was a warning shot, and that Kansas was not Liberty, so the execution could not take place. Regardless, the Zoner kept fighting. I do not know what happened after that, since my comms went off.

Matthews out.

Addendum: I believe the Hackers were Mr.Sanguinetti and Aristotle.Kristatos.

-Incoming video feed-

Alan Gresham is in his ship, using the dashboard camera to record this clip:

"This is outrageous. Yeah, but for some reason we, a small ragtag fleet of what, 1000 people, armed with civilian or below military grade equipment, are an even greater threat militarily to Liberty than a full scale house with advanced technology. I don't think that Liberty really cares about Rheinland anymore, if they send one of their damn carriers against us, coupled with daily invasions. I highly suggest we get a move on with towing Boadicea."

From Lieutenant Commander Gresham's Escape Pod

I am maneuvering my pod back to Kansas as I write this report. What an amazing battle.

Utilizing a joint attack squad with the Hellfire, we proceeded to the New York system to see what we could find. What we found was the 'LNS-Ingham', a cowardly Liberty Navy Dreadnought who decided that our attack force was just to scary, and proceeded to hide at the mooring station around the planet after a brief gathering of forces, we rushed the planet. I headed the offensive. The battle went well, with us severely damaging the Ingham The fight continued. This is the final intact guncam footage saved to my portable memory core before I was destroyed, as the 'LNS-Milford' barraged me with cruiser missiles that caught me by surprise. I will be back in Kansas in four hours.

From what I hear, we had the Ingham crawling back to the planet in search of mercy. Hilarious.

Subject: Updates and a promotion.

I want to start off by congratulating Lieutenant Drake Averos on his promotion. He has earned it with his steadfast service and his devotion to the ideals of Neo-Terra. Congratulations, Lieutenant Averos!

Now, on to more important matters. The repeated incursions into Kansas by Liberty forces and their Mandalorian flunkies have, as you all know by now, forced us to initiate plans to move Boadicea to a less... vulnerable location. Plans are underway to use the Faustus, and even the Belisarius itself for this purpose, but it would be far preferable for the station to be able to propel itself, even if only very slowly.

To this end, I am ordering all pilots to be on the lookout for salvageable engines, engine parts, and thrusters, as well as fuel sources. If need be, we will trade for them, but the station does not need to move very quickly -- not to mention, it'd probably come apart if we tried to move it quickly.

Also, we will be leaving Cargo Wing Delta behind. I know there aren't many sections of Delta that are pressurized, but anyone with anything stored there needs to remove it within the next couple days.

Additionally, Koth tells me there have been a small number of very low-power, tight-band signals detected on Boadicea, apparently aimed at the Humboldt jump hole. We may have to deal with the disturbing possibility that there is a mole in our midst -- perhaps this has something to do with the Liberty Navy's overwhelming interest in us of late. Report any suspicious activity immediately.

Matthews out.

Let's see if we can't get Champ Freight to assist us, since we're already granting him asylum in Kansas. And I'd heard of the plans to move Boadicea. Didn't think we were going to follow through. Nevertheless, I will contact our suppliers to bring us the necessary components.

As for the spy.. I'll be stationed near the Humboldt jumphole, see what I can intercept.

Incoming Transmission

Subject: STF declares war upon us

Yeah, you read the subject title right. I figured I ought to at least drop a notice in this channel, even though it doesn't really matter. Approximately 15 hours ago, I destroyed a Bounty Hunter Gunship by the name of STF-"Iron_Wall" or something, who was loitering around Kansas and being a nuisance, and had the gall to order ME to leave. I dispatched of him quickly. He yelled furiously from his pod that the STF has declared war on us.

Miners. Hah. It was a good idea to kick them out in the first place, as they are all mentally unstable.

Then, to his assistance came Velvet Revo, a moronic KoF in a Pytho. Revo encountered a serious technical failure and was obliterated. Since I am currently on recon out in Humboldt, I cannot transmit the images. When I'm back home on Boadiea, I shall. Until then, Gresham out.

Addition to channel: I do not have the chat logs, as I had to wipe them to intercept some Junker transmissions in Humboldt- nothing useful there- but my guncam shots are quite intact.

Scan of the gunship
Destroying the gunship- never used a single repair module.

First, I am honored to serve the Front. Fighting alongside you all has taught me much, and given me a new hope for mankind as a whole. For this I thank you all..

Also,
In light of our need to move Boadicea to a safer place, and the order to collect any salvaged engines/engine parts, I've managed to procure a load of engine parts, and the engine remains from a burnt out Roc if I were to guess.

I found the remains of the engine in the cloud the miners frequent, and figured it was a start.

I also had a thought. With all the ships destroyed in the defense of our home over the last while, there is a large amount of ship debris in the cloud among the asteroids. I left a pair of beacons next to a couple burnt out hulks, I'm including their coordinates so finding them should be easy.. They appear to be of Liberty make, and their engines (If they are intact, or salvageable) could probably be used to help in the relocation of Boadicea if we can bring them in.

Unfortunately my Stinger is not equipped to handle such tasks, so odds are we'd need the Hinton, or something of that scale to retrieve them. Perhaps channels could be opened with the Junkers to quicken the pace of the operations.

Lt Drake Averos

~Facepalms~ OF COURSE! The destroyed debris? Why did I never think of putting those moronic miners to use? I suggest we put that newly commissioned Heavy lifter into service. In fact, I would gladly pilot it, and perform the operation myself.

Awaiting a response, sirs.

After refueling, I rendezvoused with the Hinton at the Cortez Jump Hole in Magellan. Where we received a message indicating that there was a person of interest in the area. After hearing of two Hacker ships knocked out of action, (Mr. Sanguinetti, and an ally of his) We gave pursuit to find it was, of all things a Rheinlander Military pilot!

We chased him through Cortez, where he docked with a Rogue base of all things! By this point, we had reason to believe he was a spy, so we continued to pursue him into the Coronado system.

When we finally caught him, we were stunned to discover that he was flying a Mjolnir Super Heavy Fighter. I'd never seen one, but his armaments were not terribly impressive to me.

Either way he stated that, of all things, he was looking for Debilitators. Civilian weapons...

As we had no real jurisdiction that far out, we led him off course, and got him lost, before the Hinton was forced to dock at Barrier Gate for some much needed sleep. I will upload the Guncam shots when I get back to Kansas, unless the Hinton manages to do so before me.

Lt. Drake Averos.

Damn those gunboats. I don't know why, but for some reason it's a fashion for everyone have one these days *sighs* Anyway, turns out that there's been a few more than usual in Kansas recently.

Day One
Patrol started out normally, when a Kusari Explorer pops through the Magellan jumphole:
For once, the Captain didn't have Harris Syndrome. Seemed he only wanted to rob the miners in Kansas. I was about to give him the boot out of Kansas, when suddenly, without warning, an ALG Liberty Gunboat of all things decides to pop in and say hello. Or rather silently run off in a straight line towards Tuttle Creek.

Something was wrong there, the translator on the ship seemed to be broken as well as the transponder. Nonetheless, a Liberty Gunboat is a Liberty Gunboat , and with the help of the Explorer, we pursued it into the cloud. One quick firefight later, (mostly involving it running away from us) the gunboat demanded we cease fire. Bit too late for that, though:
*sighs* Another one down, another wreck to litter this -beautiful- system. Afterwards, a little chat with the captain revealed his name to be Alexander Black. Somehow he knows about us (and not the Liberty/Miner propoganda either) and he's run into us before as well. I guess we should look him up in the records though. Anyway, after that I decided to let him go pirating. Taking out a suspicious gunboat for us probably deserves that reward.

Then I fly off, take a quick nap in Smoky Hill and returned to a fat Mining ship, the Kingfisher. Amazing how he progressed from a mere freighter to being the Captain of a Mining ship overnight, I guess that's how Tuttle Creek is goldmine. Shame he chose the hard way out of things by shooting at me, so I guess that meant he would have to lose some of his cargo instead. Nope, he didn't want to drop any of that either. So a bit of a scrap and some laser exchange aaaannndddd...
*scratches head* Really, what's with these people? They're so damned greedy, stubborn or both that they'll sacrifice the lives of their entire crew just so they can make a profit. *shakes head*

Well, there's some good news for once. A Freelance Combat Service freighter by the name of Twister stopped by Junction. He had a nice set of cargo for us too:
Well, just the MOX. But the MOX was good enough on its own. Says he'll be bringing Firearms and H-Fuel next time 'round. Anywho, following this he proceeded to assist against an unaffiliated Kamome that decided to cloak, and a Salvager by the name of 'wizamacator' who turned around of his own accord and left. *laughs*

Eh, I think that's it for that day.

Day Two

Same salvager around again today, didn't do much, that is until a Corsair gunboat was spotted heading for Kansas. Executive Commander Rossini appeared on scene, and we proceeded to intercept it. Interestingly it had come all the way out here just to escort that same Junker. Amazingly the 'Sair captain seemed alright. A bit of a conversation which ended in them being asked not to bring a gunboat around again. Then, when out of sight it tried selling us those trashy Corsair Gunboat Turrets. Of course when it came to bringing us something useful like food or fuel it wasn't that interested. Only other notable thing was some Armoured Transport, and that about sums it up for the day.

*whistles* Phew, that was quite a bit. Anyway, Captain Robert Crompton, signing off. OH! Also, we have some Prometheum on board the Hinton. Problem is that the stuff's super-radioactive and it's in a copper box. While it could make a perfect source of possible fuel, we can't do any kind of research on it without protection from horrific radiation burns it would inflict. Right now we're sealing it off but if this keeps up we'll have to jettison it because of the health hazard it poses. Hopefully it won't come to that, as I do want to hear our Science Officer/First Officer, Mike Korlin to make some actual scientific discoveries rather than some incredibly obvious discovery about the Coffee Machine, something I'm still scratching my head as to what to do with it.

Captain Robert Crompton, signing off for real this time.
