That looks pretty awesome. Have any size-comparison pictures of it with other ships? Looks like it's about the size of a lux/prison liner, but a bit shorter. And it looks like it has... 7 turrets? It would be nice if Igiss would let us have a gunboat shield and a few gunboat turrets on it...

I really like what you are doing here Doom! That thing does indeed look great.

However I feel that your textures tend to be on the plain side. (This opinion was taken from your Bretonian Transport) is there anything you can do to add a little bit more detail to them? Also, if you have used a similar red, can you tweak it a bit so that it is deeper and a bit more burgundy?

EDIT: (This was written before I read all of your post doom. I did not intend to be sarcastic. sorry:()

My respect from one modeler to another. A nice way to combine different styles. You know, you have started it so you have to make the Rheinland liner, Corsair liner, Outcast liner and so on.;)

Oh. I hope you'll spend some time to implement as many detail as possible into this observatory.

textures being plain..hmmm, i use original FL textures, i don't make new ones...and bret trans was first ship after a year that i made so i could barely remember how things works..(texturing wise)...with every ship later i slowly improved...although you cant see that from this picture textures on this ship look quite good..but color fo the red can be changed easily...and yes..today i will take some time to add things to observatory...

about size comparison...if i am not mistaken this ship is longer then lux liner...and almost twice as wide...and it has 9 turret slots...i will post size pic pictures later...

about rheinland liner....well....i think chancellor deserves a ride too;)

Amazing work, Doom, truly awesome. Now I want one! XD Really, it's a beautiful ship, very Bretonian, and I'm looking forward to seeing some of 'em flitting about. I expect to be in the curious position of defending them with the QCO and attacking them with the NLH. =P Either way, I look forward to seeing this gorgeous liner, and hopefully more like it.

Kudos!

Um, no offense, but longer and twice as wide as the Luxury Liner? I forsee this ship being... Quite useless. Luxury Liner is already larger than (I think) ANY cruiser, so this would be the size of some battleships... And only 9 turrets which will be, at best, gunboat-class, along with possibly gunboat-class shields.

I like the ship, but... Ugh.

Eppy will attest this.....Liners are bigger then many Battleships too. Especially the Osiris and Bounty hunter BS.

If that thing is twice as wide and longer I am pretty sure that it will be bigger then the Bretonian BS.

and you both are right

i tested it yesterday in game...it was bigger then RH battleship....so i reduced its size...it is now smaller then lux liner but still is rather large ship..

on the other matter...that observation room at top of the ship gives me some trouble...only matter of finding right texture...

ship size comparison:
