The English have it right.

You will notice that this man is going to use his "foot" to kick the funny shaped ball so it IS football here in America. We just do more than kick it. Sometimes, we throw it down field or even tuck it under an arm and run with it.

That thing looks more than a pine apple than a ball if you ask me. But if it's supposed to be a ball, I'd call the sport Armrunkickthrowfootball.

I heard we developed a different dialect across the channel. I think you should just shutup and start badgering the Germans for not calling it football but instead calling it Fussball (and I do know quite a bit of German, before you jump on me). England didn't get everything right, you know.
