Shouldn't you check this at www.discoveryfl.com/wiki instead of asking?

They could just jumble up the code locations every so often ya'know, it would make the current code prices sky rocket.

Ya know, i love when people bitch about code names being camped, and how fun it is to shoot code looters, and then fly around on their fighters with a full code loadout.
The codenames come from somewhere, people.

How about having codes sold at guard bases and/or Freeports?

There's already a restriction on how many codename weapons one character can loot, but it just gets circumvented by dealers who spam Civilian ID'd Starfleas and camp the wrecks.

Oh looky, this thread is so old my post colour was still pink back then.

Necromancy is bad, don't do it.

it should be illeagal to sell weapons openly that are classified and more powerful that millitary grade equipment, kinda silly really.

there should be no wrecks, just NPC's with uberpwn guns of death, with armour 8 and nukes, debbies codes (all of the ones it will give you even if it only drops 1 it should have 4) should also have a MR, highest class of everything possible

make people work for these codes, and also make them lots more rare.

Just to clarify, you can't just blast starfliers or underlevels with codenames simply because they're carrying a codename... You have to pirate them. What can't you do in a cruiser?
You can pirate a starflea in a cruiser, just not a freighter.

Nice loophole discovery.

Not really a loophole, I thought it was intended like that? Fighters/bombers are fair game for cruisers and above, but freighters/transportsners aren't. The rules are pretty explicit on that.

In any case, it would be fairly easy for the codehunters to use a /restart and get in a freighter to ensure they're not valid targets to cruisers...
