If you want to fly B5 ships, there is an old mod TNG which has them. You will probably not find any server, but SP works fine. And -damn- that Shadow crab is sexy.
Some people made a nice forum and even programmed a B5 game with a real story. It's a little difficult at first, but fun to play. Spaceships behave like spaceships there. It's hard to get into combat-range to your opponent and not pass him with 10kps.

Try it and you will see that these ships don't fit into the Freelancer-game-mechanics where spaceships move through pudding rather than empty space.
iv played it it alittle short but good game i also played the freespace ones also but i much perferd one be mad out of the frelacer engine cuz u could add the huge capital ships jest think geting your hands on a vorlon planit killer it scares me but i would be the one on the white star iv been say on moddb but idk what will happend i would do it but have no mod skillz
